"I have never written negative reviews but this time I can't help but do so. Location nothing to say. However, I already didn't like the presentation of the menus covered in sticky plastic (but it's not the plastic itself that fits). The lady who served us was very kind. Two sardines in beccafico for 14 euros, seafood caponata with seven, I mean seven minimum cubes of swordfish 14 euros. Sliced tuna steak completely tasteless, the only flavor that could be perceived was sesame 20 euros. A margherita that looked like a print of Margherita 8 euros, a salad, bottle of white wine 22 euros, water, service with sachets of oil, salt, pepper and vinegar, fast food model, total 94 euros. There is a limit to everything. To be avoided."

From the sea directly to the table, we took stuffed with things and two fish first courses, what can I say... space! One of the two pastas was gluten-free (so the attention to Celiac disease is also appreciable, they also make pizza) Advised!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had lunch here in August 2021. We were outside, a well-kept environment with an excellent welcome. The sea setting around the historic center of Marzamemi is beautiful. Carefully prepared dishes and very fresh raw materials. Advised. Parking: Paid parking outside the historic center of Marzamemi. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

This restaurant delivered an outstanding dining experience with their Pepata di Cozze antipasto, Pasta alle Vongole with Bottarga, and Frutto di Mare Misto. The mussels were perfectly cooked, the pasta had a delightful flavor thanks to the Bottarga and the mixed seafood was cooked to perfection. A truly remarkable place for exceptional flavors and quality ingredients. Service: Dine in

"It was a very slow Thursday evening and we had heard that this restaurant served fresh fish cooked well. There was only one other couple there and we were made very welcome, sat down, a litre of white wine and sparkling water brought to our table. The menu was very interesting and different, it was also in Italian, German and English which was very helpful. The waiter brought out a basket of fresh fish to show us and the range of fish, prawns, octopus and other was extensive. We chose the antipasti for two at €18 and it was superb and more than enough. It had omelet, stuffed mussels, artichoke, octopus, white shrimp in a mayonnaise sauce, aubergine and then a huge plate of fresh prepared fish including huge prawns, sardines, tiny octopus and other grilled and fried white fish. It was very filling and delicious. I had ordered fried calamari and a green salad and Pam had the large prawns. My calamari were cooked just right and were delicate to cut and easy to eat, not hard and rubbery if cooked for too long. My green salad was fresh and with balsamic vinegar brought to the table. Pam enjoyed her prawns which were well cooked, but not over cooked and olive oil was brought to the table for her to dip in. We finished the meal with coffees and a grappa. The whole bill came to €67 which was excellent value for money as well as being delicious food and the quirky ambience of the restaurant added to the enjoyment. I would thoroughly recommend L'Approdo in Marzamemi for its food, service and all round experience."
