"We tried to eat here on Friday Pm There was some type of German celebration, with lots of people dressed up in costumes. We could not even get thru the front door. So we decided to leave. This was a little difficult to find...parking for and the entry to restaurant is in the back of the Town Hall Building. We were looking in the front of building. There is also a tourist center inside but it was closed later Friday pm. It's in a Beautiful building, Neo-Gothic style designed by architect : Georg J. Von Hauberrisser. Erected He also was the same architect who designed the town hall in Munich Gothic Revival style. I also read he designed town hall in Wiesbaden as well. We returned Sunday. No problems getting in. We have eaten at several of the higher ranking restaurants on trip advisor and both my husband and I felt this was much better than its number ranking. We had a wonderful waiter named Steven. They had menu in English which was greatly appreciated. We could have deciphered the menu if we had too but it just made it much easier. Our drinks were brought out quickly as well as our foods ordered. We shared the potato soup. I thought it was a little bland tasting. Some spices or salt needed. But if you get a bite with the meat it tasted better. My husband had the Jäger Schnitzel. It was the best he has had so far in Germany. It came with small whole potatoes. I ordered the Turkey Breast with side of mushroom gravy and roasted potatoes. Also very tasty. Very good sized portions. I actually took half of mine home for lunch next day. We were too full to try dessert but they sounded good. We each had a dark beer and I only could drink as it was making me feel to full so husband drank the rest and I had a glass of white wine with my meal. The beers and wine were very good. A neat atmosphere. It was not very crowded and we both really enjoyed it and are happy we gave it another try to get in. We would come again and I would recommend."
