"I rang to book, and the staff were very accommodating and could not do enough for us. Booked us a table downstairs for mothurs birthday so she did not have to climb stairs, and when we arrived allowed her to choose a different table so...she didn't have to squeeze her parchment skin legs into a bench. The food was delicious, and so was the mead. We had half a carafe of blackberry wine with our main course, and they brought out the cake and lit the firework in it. They let us take a doggy bag home as well. The service was absolutely perfect, we could not ask for more, murastawhy dheugh why oll many thanks to you all!"

I've been going here for years, and it used to be a great place for a cheap meal, but now it's quite expensive for just deep-fried cheap food.

Visit whenever we can when in cornwall, we had starters and main meal, all arrived together, great portion sizes and tasted fresh. Blackberry, strawberry peach mead was also lovely.

We had a fantastic Sunday dinner with very generous portions at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive, making it a perfect spot for Christmas gatherings or other special events. Highly recommended!

Great place with a great theme, more or less all the way through. Food was good, but dessert did seem very 'bought in bulk '. Never had mead before and was great that you could buy small tasters. Cherry mean is VERY sweet BTW! Main course was very tasty, and for me, the steak was perfect. Would 've loved to have seen the theme passed down through the food, like perhaps an all you can eat medieval banquet! Overall, a great place I would visit again should I be in Cornwall again.
