Freundliche Bedienung.

"Once again a Friday trip to the old homeland and again the question of a restaurant on Friday, but this time at 12 noon. The Neusser – Furth doesn’t really convince us here in the selection and even the restaurants in Kaarst don’t let us become repeaters. Spontaneously, my wife came with the idea that for the children it would be nice to make six to seven hours in the car a day with a visit to the Bobbolandia Grevenbroich amusement park. Time to play, play time and thus time for me in Grevenbroich to look for a restaurant for lunch. Grevenbroich is here at GG an absolutely white spot on the map, some registered restaurants, no reviews, not even pictures on the outside view of the locals, with a little more time you could fill your point account on your own phototechnical basis; so pushed through the WWW and three locals into the narrower choice. Number 1 had unfortunately closed despite the addition “A holiday of – to open”; number 3 did not like the female part of the decision-makers from the ambience, so that he became the Gasthof Jägerhof. After the homepage [here link] The “Jägerhof” is one of the oldest guest houses in Grevenbroich. Located on the edge of Grevenbroich, the guest house with a connected bowling alley is located in one of the houses typical for this region with a dark clinker facade. Own parking is sufficient, the entrance to the guest room is reached over two steps. The guest room is directly opposite the large counter of light and dark wood in the room. The walls half to 2 3 high lined with dark wood, the remaining part on the ceiling painted in a cream tone. The floor with dark tiles designed, tables, chairs and dark wooden benches provide space for around 30 people. With a hinged sliding door you get left hand in the dining room. The walls here are also semi-highly covered with wood, the rest of the walls as well as the ceiling painted with a bright, friendly cream tone. Individual images on the walls, wall lights, bright over gardens and green plants on the window benches do not make the room appear unpleasant. Here also the tables, chairs and the surrounding bench with upholstery from the eighties of dark wood. About 40 people will find here at the present occasions in a covered table with bright tablecloth, with Easter decoration, paper napkins in Easter decoration, cutlery, a small pot flower, salt shakers and pepper shakers and a starter with season, drinks and dessert card. The only thing I find personally unhappy for a dining room is the dark gray carpet, I don't want to clean it when a plate takes the way to the ground instead of the table. For Ambience 3, we are here in a guest house and it is suitable for this. We had reserved, were kindly greeted by the staff and brought to our table when you were in the room. The menus in a dark shell were handed over and our big man also got his own card with the words “You can certainly read something.” So you can make children proud. We were made aware of the asparagus map and then time to choose from. After a pleasant waiting period that received the order, the drinks quickly came to the table, my supplement salad was served in advance and the main dishes served simultaneously while the children were the first serving round. Ketchup and mayonnaise for children have been served without demand and at no cost, so you can't always find it. Both a good appetite was desired and in the meantime asked if everything was right. The bill came to our request immediately with a decent Bon and two Lollies for the boys. We were kindly accepted and wanted for a happy Easter, while we left the place there were two Easter eggs for the lilies again. The service 4 is always related to the fact that we were here in a guest house. For dinner, the Chicken Nuggets were ordered twice with Pommes per € 6,20, pork larvae with asparagus, sauce Hollandaise and potatoes € 18,90, asparagus roll with ham, tomatoes, sauce Hollandaise and cheese gratinized € 13,00 and the gypsy carving with pommes and salad € 12,50. The chicken nuggets in sufficient quantity for children were ok and as one expects them, 3 . On the plate of my mother were three medals, all nicely fried, tender and still juicy inside. For this purpose, some salt potatoes and four bars asparagus with a Hollandaise where I am now made, but that was not bad yet. She tasted it, she was satisfied and meant that it tasted very well, so 4 My wife chose the asparagus role. 4 5 bars asparagus with cooked ham and tomato slices, covered by Sauce Hollandaise and with cheese, only run with cheese and not really congratulated. What now sounds as a not overcrowded part was more than sown for them because of the Hollandaise and cheese. The asparagus does not cook here, but also with light bites, the Hollandaise is identical to the one on my mother's plate, the dish is still pollinated with fresh parsley. Also here it was good, satisfaction yes, to a “very good” as with my mother not sufficient, 3.5 . In contrast to the other orders, I had decided against an asparagus shell, but for the profane gypsy carving. Looking back, maybe I would have combined carving and asparagus. A small additional salad of iceberg, carrots and white herbal salad was served with cucumber slices. As a dressing for these a slightly sweet sour cream yogurt dressing that has reminded me for over 30 years. The salad with the dressing was fine if all the ingredients were now self-made, I only leave open when I need a knife for the salad leaves, then you could choose them a bit more cautious before the dressing. My main dish, served on a square dish, was fine. The pommes good TK – merchandise, kross fritted, still soft inside and not greasy had seen enough salt. The scavenger was certainly not knocked and extra picked for me, but certainly not a TK, but prepared because it had taste. It is not easy to find the preparation of frying pan when the sauce almost completely covers the panade. Despite the rather dark, free places, I tend to panic. The gypsy sauce left me inconclusive, here I tend to form a finished product or a sauce of several convenience products by the consistency of both the paprika and the sauce. Instead of a certain spice and freshness, the typical taste of pickled peppers in the mouth was rather unfolded. It wasn't bad, but more than three aren't inside. All in all, it's 3.5 for food. To cleanliness I can say nothing negative, everything you can see as a normal guest in the guest room was well maintained. The sanitary facilities that can be reached in an airplane have the charm of the eighties, but as long as they are clean, I can live with it, so here 4 . We have paid for three adults and two children for food and two drinks €60.60, otherwise we will be light after second. For a guest house and the offers absolutely appropriate, therefore 4 What I now notice when writing, the prices on the homepage are no longer up to date: Chicken Nuggets € 6,20 instead of € 5,40 and Gypsies € 12,50 instead of € 9,80. The price is still fine and therefore no deductions at the PLV, but it would be nice if your own homepage should be updated. The end of the overall impression can therefore only be read: 3 – when it comes back, I don't drive 300 kilometers for a visit, but both the PLV and the kindness of the staff leave the Jägerhof with a renewed visit to Gedächnis 1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – when it returns, 4 – again happy, 5 – absolutely again after a kitchen trip."
