"No 100 meters after the departure from Hauptstr. (Koblenz-Olper-Str. is located on the route to Heimbach-Weis/Engers the Trattoria Sayn, one of the favorite locals of a critic colleague. Although the restaurant is full of bar stools up to a side table, the appetizer reaches us very quickly. To align with the higher garlic level, I have to eat a quarter. The beef carpaccio is served with rocket, thin mushroom slices, parmesan pears, olives and 2 thicker lemon slices. More practical would be a thick lemon slice, the olives don't taste bad, but don't fit too well for me. A place of thin meat slices is still irritatingly very cold. Oil can only be found in homeopathic cans, but the necessary craftsmanship was supplied. The use of vinegar, a good oil and the pepper mill has a positive effect. Wouldn't the basic taste be the job of the kitchen? Also the similar pizzas are brought quickly. Optically as expected, on the edge crispy, the remaining soil thin, but does not pass. The reordered Tiramisu comes with 2 forks and tastes good, creamy, and is not a small portion for 3 €. Restoration for the waiting period? Service: The boss and a female service rock the shop. When fully equipped, they are likeselflink as well as the kitchen. The boss even finds time for the smoke break on the terrace and for most guests friendly words when coming and/or walking. There seem to be many regulars among them. The more tables are free and not reoccupied, the less attention becomes. "Nach einer Wanderung waren wir zum Abendessen in den Lindenhof eingekehrt. Es war Sonntag und es war Muttertag und das Restaurant war bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt. Dementsprechend dauerte es etwas länger bis wir unsere Speisen auf dem Tisch hatten. Aber das Warten hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Es war super super lecker. Das Fleisch auf den Punkt weich, das Gemüse zart ... es schmeckte wirklich absolut lecker. Dieser Koch braucht sich vor keinem Sternekoch verstecken. Nur die Preise dazu waren wie in einem normalen bürgerlichen​ Haus. Die Bedienung war, trotzdem es voll war freundlich, und das Ambiente war zwar nichts​ besonderes aber auch nicht unpassend. Mein Fazit: wenn ich wieder in der Gegend bin gehe ich wieder im Lindenhof essen."

"Wir waren in den letzten Wochen häufig hier. Mit einem kleinen Kind beschränken sich die Restaurantbesuche eben auf den direkten Umkreis. Der Inhaber ist nett und bemüht. Auch die Dame mit den dunklen Haaren ist wirklich nett. Das Essen ist gut und hat mehr als nur zwei Punkte verdient. ABER das was wir die letzen zwei Tage telefonisch & vor Ort erlebt haben, hat nicht mal einen Punkt verdient. Beim ersten Mal rief mein Mann für eine Vorbestellung zum Abholen an, die Dame war mehr als UNFREUNDLICH!!!!! Vor Ort wurde mein Mann von der Dame in blond nicht mal begrüßt. Bereits an dem Punkt wollten wir nicht mehr dort hin, aber gestern haben wir es ein letztes Mal versucht. Diesmal sollte ich anrufen und was soll ich sagen? Unfreundlich ist noch nett gegen das Verhalten der Dame am Telefon. Selbst zuhören war Zuviel verlangt, dadurch fehlte natürlich mein Extrawunsch. Mein Mann holte das Essen und auch diesmal kein Hallo von der Dame an der Theke, auch nicht nachdem mein Mann Hallo gesagt hatte. Der Inhaber war wie immer nett. Das Essen gut. Schade, dass es heute nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist nett zu sein.Ach und sollten Sie (die unfreundliche blonde Dame) meine Bewertung lesen, ein kleiner Tipp an Sie für die Zukunft: Sollten Sie so zu uns sein weil wir uns in der Freizeit sportlich anziehen, verrate ich Ihnen gerne bei Gelegenheit mal was wir beruflich machen. Nur weil wir es nicht zeigen, heißt es nicht das wir es nicht haben"
