"A fantastic week in a fairytale setting for a family wedding celebration at chateu X sentout. The caterers used by us was Deval Traiteur. They provided a menu and servce second to none. Comments from guests included best food ever served at a wedding feast to perfect service with a smile, all of this arranged with Ismael whose English was superb.The food was divided into three separate services , late lunch with am amazing array of finger foods such as prawns flambed in whisky, chicken and duck breast on skewers, oysters, snails,smoked salmon with cream cheese, veg pots, along with other delicious options main course was a granita of melon and passion fruit, filet mignon and Bordeaux potato cake. Desert was a crocem Bouche ( French wedding cake ) with fireworks presented in a spectacular way alongside a silver bowl of Moët champagne which was full of dry ice. The caterers provided everything needed and cleared everything afterwards. I cannot recommend Deval trateur highly enough not only as a company but as a collection of first class staff."

"We came to the recommendation of a friend who shaved over the food. We came to the hotel early so that we went for lunch and were very disappointed about the quality and taste of the food. We ordered a beautiful glass of Sauvignon and the shells. We both had eaten a bit on the street, so we were not so hungry, just kept it with a dish. It came looking very bizarre; a protocol of a kind of stale hard bread, with small cold, tasteless shells on top dotted with over strong parsley pesto and some other Dab of sauce that I could not identify. The whole thing was weird and we both had trouble destroying it. They served it with cut, seemingly overhauled bread without butter, so even a piece of bread was blunt and uninteresting. Both of us are very enjoyable when it comes to food and usually find something worth eating on a plate, but that was the first time I couldn't manage. And to supplement injuries, the bill was 47euros. We cancelled our dinner reservation immediately and still cannot understand what we tell others about the amazing meals they had,"

"On the way back from somewhere. do not know where as it was my Partners idea to go shopping we passed L'Atmosphere restaurant. It looked inviting, even if the road runs alongside the restaurant, so we decided to turn around and give it...a visit. Parking is easy either at the shops next door or at the Mairie across the road. The restaurant has either dining inside with air conditioning or outside on the terrace under large sun umbrellas The menu is of a reasonable size with choices of meat or fish or salads. The wine list is leather bound and is extensive. well this is Bordeaux country with prices ranging from 17 euro -1000 euro per bottle. Wine is also available by the glass. We were quickly shown to a table and we ordered a beer and glass of rose wine whilst we scanned the menus. We skipped the starters and went straight for a main course of grilled steak with fries. The steaks were of a good size cooked as required. Chips came in a little basket and were as french chips should be , thin , crisp and cooked to a golden colour. A bottle of red Bordeaux at 18 euros was a good accompaniment to the meal. We were recommended 2 special desserts by our pleasant waiter not sure if he was on commission but he sold a lot of them . The Assiette de L'Atmosphere which was a long thin dish approx 40cm long containing different flavoured ice creams decorated with various fresh fruits. My dessert was small examples of the various desserts available surrounding a cup of coffee. Although pricey at 12 euro it was an experience. Both desserts are available to share. I did not observe a children's menu. On the down side the restaurant is next to the main road through the village and sometimes was noisy, also this restaurant appears to be following most U.K restaurants and using paper napkins. Please French resteraunters do not follow the U.K. trend for paper napkins , linen napkins add a touch of class and at 88 euro I did expect this. Would I return ? Yes I would but I would ask if linen napkins were available"

"It's really a shame, because I'm from the corner and I like to participate in the business life, but I'm not going to eat it anymore. I took the only menu at 30€, which turned out to be pretty disappointing. in the entrance, the only one proposed, "beric plate," good san plus, with chorizo, ham and sheep cheese (manchego). When entering the restaurant you can see a ham, on its support, pretty and appetizing, but it's not the same as you find in the plate. For the dish, we have a choice of 3, I took the "crushed turbo and wild rice." instead of a grilled fish I had a fish in the oven, fade, without spices bathing in his juice. a pilaf rice served apart, not seasoned either. I told the boss that I was disillusioned and that I had a lot of trouble accepting criticism. He's finally offered me another dish instead. I want to point out. dessert a fruit carpaccio, with a vanilla ice ball. good, but really limit for a menu to 30€. prices of the map, and the wine map are high enough for a restaurant of the genre. Too bad."
