Great restautant. Amazing swabian food, huge portions and super reasonable prices. Definitely a must in Friedenau.

Nach ca. 18 Monaten hat es mich erneut in den Glühwurm geführt. Die Bedienung ist immer noch da, diesmal klappt aber alle. Auch die Küche lieferte diesmal erstklasige Ergebnisse,, so dass die Bewertug nun auf fünf Punkte verbessert wurde. View menu

this is at a distance my favorite restaurant in berlin. beautiful quiet atmosphere, cheap beer and large portions. I always get the Schnitzel-Jäger art. the pork is always delicate. the late zle are beautiful. I can't blame this great restaurant

I live just around the corner...of course you can't take it there once to go to eat... tempting from ambiente...and that's it already.Service usually overwhelms especially in the summer when the garden is open...because in this restaurant I have served twice sour/bad semmelknödel...the whole thing in itself is already quite embarrassing when such a thing was safe.

German kitchen with a distinct Swabian focus (maul pockets in many variations, late zle, schupfnudeln, linsen etc). we also drank a neat kerner as well as lemberger and trollinger. cozy kiezwirtschaft, which is well suited for a return with the whole family. the service is - depending on who is there - sometimes very good, but sometimes also overworked, especially when the garden area is open. who likes solid prepared German cuisine will feel very comfortable here in all. what a fabulous sound. on a business trip to berlin had eaten one of our employees last year at the same event in this small restaurant. it was great! so good that we went twice! we had a fine bottle of champagne on one night and on the other evening a very acceptable riesling! do not eat any appetizer, as the main dish is more than saturating with an inappropriately titled little salad! we had carved (2 big prices for a portion) pork fillets in sauce (very tasty) and the vegetarian nudel packages in cheese sauce. so good that I forgot to make a photo! wanted a dessert, but too full! remember to take cash, as they do not accept credit cards like many small shops!

in friedenau, where the many writers lived, rampant, fresh, johnson, rilke, kautsky, luxemburg, weisern, kästner, there are at Renée-Sintenis-Platz, ecke hadjerystraße a small simple restaurant with Swabian cuisine and spicy mountain wines. we met this hospitable place on the occasion of a "qype city night". a writer who works in the cute street and great esser has strongly recommended him to right. that was 2007 when many of the later Q protagonists did not play a role. frequent visits to various restaurants in the city were a fixed facility for many. we met with qualitatiw interesting restaurants also in more distant and naturally interesting and stimulating colleagues and partly friends....
