"Hotel Rooms1, 10 and 30 in the hotel were sufficiently large and clean, unfortunately without air conditioning (for the rooms only 4 stars. Very nice was the welcome gift (small cakes and wine and the coffee machine. For dog owners not optimal, because the dog can only be in the fireplace room and on the terrace. We've had a 4 Gämge menu both evenings. The preparation and taste were top-class and the money was worth everything. Great praise to the kitchen. The drinks prices are in the upper midfield and the restaurant and the food. Breakfast is completely sufficient. Everything was available (except on mirror eggs, in good quality and was always laid down. Coffee/tea service to the table.Last but not least:A special thanks goes to Kevin. Rarely so hearty laughed and much spiced. His humour may not be everyone's thing, but we all found him well. If not, great acting performance :"

We stayed here for the second time with the family at the restaurant. The staff is always very polite and accommodating. The dishes are quite extraordinary. As a vegetarian, I wish a little more choice.

beautiful family-run hotel in very good quiet location above cochem. the hotel is just a few steps from a beautiful walk through the weinberge. we had a double room with balcony and with it a beautiful view of the moss. half board is recommended as the dinner was simply called a 4-course menu. we were there twice. had also a double room with balcony and view of the mosel. the hotel was very nice. morning champagne breakfast buffet. in the evening a menu. that was too little for my man. at the time he ate a lot. was not a problem. he was hit. I'll give them a delicious piece of cake on the afternoon. otherwise we were much on the road with the car. they have a lot of kenngelern in the environment. the hotel, with its own parking, I can recommend.

Unfortunately, the hotel was not on the water but on the mountain. The food promised more on the internet than it was, at least on the first evening. The second night, the food was better. Many vouchers should make the stay at the hotel more beautiful, but we could not redeem all. Then cake was offered in the voucher but there was no one on offer. Our booked massage unfortunately only on the last day shortly before departure. I would have liked the information earlier, especially at or before the booking.

"I read some reviews and heard from friends that this was thé place to eat in Cochem am Mosel, so we were very excited to find the restaurant near empty on our arrival as we had expected a wait. There was nobody to greet us as we walked in so after waiting politely waiting at the entrance for a bit we decided to seat ourselves awaiting the the host, waiter/waitress to come and greet us.It took another 5 minutes for the waitress to show up. As soon as she showed up she kindly requested us to move from the cozy booth-like spacious table to a smaller wooden table. Since the entire restaurant was empty, with the exception of one gentleman and it was about an hour before closing we did not see her point to keep the large table for non-guests so we kindly declined. The frauleins entire attitude changed and we could hear her screaming and yelling in the kitchen to the chef. She then proceeded to vent her grief to the other patron in German. One might imagine her surprise when I kindly informed her that I was able to understand her conversations ( I am Dutch so I understand the language ) and did not appreciate her treating us this way. Being used to American customer service I do lower my standards somewhat but to be told smack about a semi-professional in a small town restaurant in the middle of nowhere is not something I accept. We were looking forward to taste the local food but were quite frankly concerned that this would come with some non-sanitary condiments."
