"I am absolutely astounded that this restaurant is currently ranked number 90 of Avignon restaurants !! We were visiting the delightful city of Avignon and called in at the restaurant quite late for lunch service the location is slightly off the main tourist area...but it is well worth the detour. The Cesar Salad was absolutely excellent and the general ambiance and service was excellent.it is very rare that we eat at the same restaurant when visiting a new city, however we made an exception in this case and booked for lunch the next day again absolutely superb and could not be faulted. As we were leaving we were chatting to our waitress and noticed the number of reservations for later that evening which were considerable. The prices are very reasonable the cafe gourmand was delightful and the service impeccable. Recommended."

You need to wait in line, there is always space, they just need to turn the tables faster. May be a lack of staff during peak season? Food was okay. Personally did not like the tataki de saumon (too thick piece slice). Service okay...too though cold. Come here for the calm and the ambiance. View menu

Everything about our lunch here was right! From outdoor table to service to excellent cuisine. We started with Provençal tomatoes with mozzarella and greens in Pesto followed by scallops for my spouse and salmon and spinach for me. Both Entrees came over Risotto. The little green olives are beautiful herby. Local wines through the glass and coffee added to the meal.

Since we had not booked, we sat inside, which means under deck built around another tree and with doors open to the beautiful courtyard with trees. The service was slow when he was busy. The menu was limited. The food was presented on huge plates, very pretty, but insignificant. We ordered rum babas for dessert, who were huge, soaked in real rum and served with cream, so went satisfied.

We ordered 3 courses. Entrance, main and dessert. I ate only minimally all three. They were clearly below average. I barely touched myself. When the waiter was clear, the plates didn't ask why? Hard to cut. Hard, boiled badly. Not divided. Not in demand. Not the duck or dessert. When leaving the manager and two other employees outside smoking. Service and passion for food and experience without interest. View menu

When we left the Calvet Museum on Monday, we only had to cross the street to go to the Cour d'Honneur. It was more than an hour, and we were very welcome. We chose the butcher game and the child menu. Excellent value for money! Child menu 11 euros and for me 13 euros plus a cheese plate. A total of 29,50 euros. A good meal, in a pleasant setting with a listener and smiling with the mask, but the smile always sees and it is so pleasant. I strongly encourage you to go to Bon appetite.

The Cour d'Honneur deserves his name. We dine in a small courtyard very light, quiet. The waiter is pleasant but a little overflowed by moment (or forgotten to serve a glass of wine to our friends). We've all been satisfied with our dishes. The plates are pretty and the products are well valued. Our friends have had a great disappointment on the cheese plate, however, which is obviously not up to the rest (especially that they do not lack good cheese in this region). Despite this we went out and with the desire to return.

"I'm a regular here, and I'm not the only one lol! This place is always packed, it's both a locals haunt and a place where well-advised tourists end up. I meet my friends here, I meet my colleagues here, I meet half the town here...And it draws out the locals every evening with good reasons! So, first off: Convenience. Just on the bank of the river, this place has it's own parking.Next, atmosphere: Clean shabby chic orientated decor, open central kitchen, usually pretty crowded, Italian chef.... This place has got the atmosphere where it should be for modern tasty Italian cuisine.Service: populated by hipster and punkette style waiters and waitresses, they might not be warm nor welcoming, but they polite and competent. The service is prompt and the wine suggestions correct.Food: my FAVOURITE part! I love Italian, and I just appreciate a place that does it right so much! Simple, clean, modern and tasty!Their pizzas are beyond a doubt the best in the region, special mention for the Bianca and the Cosi. Their pasta is mouth watering. But I always find the best on their menu to be their dish of the day (for example duck filet with apricots, tuna steak with Italian sauce, roast filet mignon...) and their veal schnitzel. In fact I am a regular to this place almost solely because of their veal schnitzel. Just gorgeous!Oh and their desserts.... Are just delicious, special mention for the raspberry-lemon-white chocolate parfait!Once again, this is not a budget eat-all-you-can low end pizzeria. The prices are midrange. But the cuisine is authentic and impeccable, the setting very pleasant, and it is definitely a place you will come back to after trying it once."
