"Peter the Maitre d' was very welcoming and warm. He quickly sat us at a table. The table was by the pool and away from the hustle and bustle. The reason one goes to Le B is for the action and nightlife. That is what they are known for. The waiter did not understand or speak English that well, which is a problem when you are asking him to explain things on the menu. I decided to order a hamburger and I have to say it was below average. My friend ordered the beef tartar and it was so over seasoned, it was not edible. I asked for another drink and a good half hour or so passed and it never came. I finally gave up and track him down for the check. Our waiter never checked on us. When I did need something I would have to flag him down or physically go find him. It was a waste of a night in St, Tropez. Big Disappointment."

Slow service... terrible food and disappointing overall experience. 120€ for a shisha seems also weird. Anyhow... not what it Was. Never again unless Chage of Managment. Shame for me as I used to be very regular every summer.

We had a Hamburger and two Nicoise salads. A Fraisier for dessert and an excellent special Chateau d'Esclans rose wine, expensive but superb. The service is excellent, and the fact that we are near the swimming and a large lounge is perfect. We will be back.

Following a delightful dinner evening at the Rivea just below and before going to les Caves du Roy, the serving personnel at the Rivea suggested we visit the B first and what a great suggestion. We really enjoyed our drinks there, the drinks menu is as thick as the bible, no joke, and the personnel very good, all due to some great guy (from Italy) running the show and making us welcome and checking carefully what's going on. We liked it so much we returned the next night, definitely a new spot for us for our future, but sadly rare, visits to Saint Tropez.

"Had lunch there for my 40th birthday with my wife and my 5 yo son : we had a wonderful time, just what I expected for my birthday . The terrace is located in the hotel La Residence de la Pinede so the location and service are perfect, the top notch maître d 'hôtel is superbly seconded by his staff, there really is nothing more to say than perfect when they successfully create a relaxed atmosphere in a 5 location with amazing food. Let 's be clear on something: don 't go there if you 're on a budget because you 'll end up frustrated, you want to chose what you wish to eat and drink not what you can . If we 're ok on this part let 's move forward. That have a formula (95€ with the degustation menu that also includes the loungers on the beach if you wish to enjoy the private beach of the hotel or their pool. We ordered a La carte because we didn 't feel like eating that much and preferred more options for our lunch. A little bummer there : you end up paying more but the loungers are not included so we end up paying 140€ for two of them. We didn 't let this waste our precious stay but it 's not very classy on their part. My son had the pasta (many choices including penne, fettuccine, spaghetti... with bolognese sauce, they 're the BEST I ever tasted and with a 5 yo I 've tasted a lot of them in many locations (including luxurious ones . We shared an entree of smoked salmon and tarama, the salmon was really good, the kind of salmon you expect when they have a real chef orchestrating his kitchen : fresh and delicious. I, then had ravioli filled with ris de veau and foie gras swimming in a sage leaf pool, it was magnificent and I never order foie gras because I don 't enjoy it that much. You have many bread options, we had the fougasse and it was delicious. The champagne list by the glass is amazing : we had Dom Perignon and Krug rosé, definitely pricey but you don 't look at the price when you can get so many options (the sommelier had 5 or 6 options of champagne by the glass for me , you have more classic options too but I was so happy with the ones I had . I was the only one to have desert : a soufflé aux myrtilles with a liqueur de sureau, I was in shock tasting it . We then stayed on the beach and enjoyed the heated pool that was sooo warm after the hotel de Paris 's cold pool. Overall if we forget the bummer of the loungers that are included on the menu but not if you go à la carte and spend a lot more I give them 6 and will definitely come back"
