"After searching online for somewhere to eat we decided to book Le Barillon we are so happy that we did. Whilst the restaurant is slightly out of the town (we walked around half an hour) there is a bus that travels to and from...the restaurant which makes it so much easier either way, it is worth the travel. The restaurant itself is super cosy, relaxed and calming. The staff were so friendly and attentive. We both had the beef fondue which was served with fries, salad and a selection of house sauces. The food was incredible and we could not fault the overall experience. Everything is reasonably priced, especially for the area (beef fondue was each) and a house red was for half. After finishing our meal we were left to finish our wine and chat, and in no way felt pressured to hurry and leave. We enjoyed ourselves so much we booked to return at the end of our trip whilst we were there. Could not recommend the restaurant enough!"

arrived around 8:00 in the week. So a little later I design it. The person in charge has been very well recued and well served. a great kitchen, very good. Duck magret with the nut sauce is a slaughter. The melted with the pancakes too. I strongly recommend this restaurant. Really great.

We were 8 people and we took different dishes. But the service was fast. The warm welcome, our dog who was a little in the passage of service did not have thoughts as often. Customers are good children between regulars and tourists. I go back to it several times in the winter, it's always top

We ate one Friday night, four. the reception was at the top: smiling and warm. We're feeling fine right now. On the menu, fondue for one, raclette for others. All is very good and hearty. A small home genepi offered at the end of the meal...It was perfect to finish a very nice week at the ski to val to isere.

We visited this lovely cosy restaurant last night as we didn’t fancy chicken curry as our chalet evening meal. Good choice as it turned out. I had escargot to start and John had onion soup, followed by fillet steak and steak tartare for me. All...just delicious and amazingly good value, with house wine by the half litre picket. A group of men came in whilst we were there claiming they had booked a table but were turned away as all the tables were booked. It is essential to book as it is a small restaurant and it helps the place get the right staffing levels for the service. Only polite really.

This is a favourite place to eat in La Daille. It is small has a lovely atmosphere and is what I like about alpine restaurants (and locals eat there). The food is very good and we were there for dinner. We had fondue the first...week which is for two, with dried charcuterie. That meal was a bargain in ski resort terms. The second week I had Tartiflette which was yummy, my husband had a steak which was enormous and cooked just as he wanted. Their fruit sorbets with matching eau de vie are a brilliant finish to a cheese heavy meal. Looking forwards to next year's visit. It is also open for lunch and always seems busy.
