"we stayed in a business trip in the hotel and reserved a table in the restaurant. given the ranking on tripadvisor, we had not expected anything special. Nevertheless, we were pleasantly surprised both by the quality of the products, the price-performance ratio and the service. The main dishes, in particular the rehkeule, were on the spot and also the supplements and the dessert were excellent. only the rehconsommé was a pure fall. tastefully excellent, from the amount actually a non-damage to offer it as a menu. it wasn't even an appetithappe. a very small espressotasse, half full and with a leafy baked. two espresso spoons, which were very tasteful and already the taste experience was unfortunately over. a somewhat lukewarm note gü. the service was floundered. at least there was no reaction to the critique. otherwise the service was very good, especially since the restaurant was apparently fully booked with business travelers."

awesome. I just have to ask myself what should be better about a michelin star. my experience is that the difference is no longer the quality but the price.

We did not stay at the hotel but just had dinner in the restaurant but on looking around the property, it does look very nice. Our meal was very good but pricey. Nice for a special occasion or evening out.

the castle hotel is very quiet at the rande of the village, surrounded by a small park. I had a suite at a special price. this was equipped with fairy antique furniture and very spacious. eating in the restaurant is characterized by a very good, ground floor kitchen. the personal is very attentive and the service perfect. I'd like to come back.

The food in this restaurant is of a very good quality, also the service is. The menu was rather limited. The atmosphere was nothing less than akward, this due to the complete and utter silence as there was no music nor sounds to hear. Except for your neighbors chewing and tapping their cutlery. I have never had this before. The prices are not really cheap but you get what you pay for.

unfriendly but unobtrusive waiter, small but well chosen menu, very nice local wines. I agree with some reviewers that it is quiet. but that is the point: i dont want this **** muzak music or silly singers pestering me , you can concentrate on food...and discussions. appetizer: red-beet salad (light and fluffy, very crunchy tasty) main course ravioli w/ herbs (nicely arranged with seeds and tomatoes) wine: local riesling (light yet rich in taste

Right off the main reception is the small restaurant for breakfast. But the breakfast is not small or limited. Lots of hot and cold choices with attentive service to keep things stocked and clean. Eggs, cereals, buns, breads and meats to meet all tastes. And they were of excellent quality. The hot water dispensor for the tea looks like the Tukish Tea design with a tea pot on top, but in our case was only hot water with a dozen choices of teas to make the one you liked. Well done.Since we had a wedding the night before, it was a buffet in the main hall, which also showed the kitchen does a geat job on the dinner menus too.

We stayed at the fantastic hotel next door and decided to have a dinner for in the restaurant on the castle grounds. The choice of food and wine was excellent, the service was always available, never imposing but always there when you needed something....I had fish and lobster medallions, my son had his Wiener Schnitzel and my mother and husband went for the Swabian Onion Roast Beef. All dishes were excellent, the fish was fantastic, the beef and the schnitzel were tender and tasty. All dishes came with a vast variety of fresh and seasonal vegetables. We had a fantastic Sauvignon-Blanc (the fish eater chose the wine, so it was a white one) and delicious desserts. The ambience in the restaura...
