Restaurant Sphere - Menu

We visited here for our 5 year anniversary and I can honestly say the Food was excellent, the views are phenomenal and the service we received was great. YouTube vloggers say it’s a tourist trap but I think it’s such an amazing experience you should...do it. My advice book tickets well in advance.

We had coffee and cake at the restaurant. The view is what makes visiting the restaurant worthwhile. Service was a bit slow, the cake/coffee average. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't revolving during our visit. But we did like to be able to take our time and have something to eat whilst enjoying the view.

the big plus points of the unique place the brilliant view that constantly changes (a tour in an hour) the lammback harms minimum amount for the entry service can progress: glasses wein (gigondas at 7 euro and riesling) put in a carafe and a gift in the glass (we can not see the bottle) while champagne glasses as aperitif hardly have started

we used a gift voucher that gives it right on two breakfasts on the top of the tower. the life was more than impressive and fabulous, we have great hardships to focus on our teller.We would have been happy about a double selection at breakfast (maybe it is, but since we had a good one ...) the breakfast was really so delicious, but not plentiful, to a second portion we had not said no the staff was really very pleasant, although we did not smiled we made it once again in our life, asking

We went for breakfast and had resevered an inner circle table. I was impressed because they offer a vegan breakfast, which I had. It was ok but a bit odd. Service was more fawlty towers than Berlin Tower! It took 2 waiters and 4 attempts for my son to get his breakfast without cheese. I asked to change my honey for jam and he said it was already open, it wasn't. And I'm not certain if it was soya milk I ended up with. 80 euros to get in and breakfast for 2 is pricey, 9 euros was for an orange juice. You get privileged express lift entrance and exit though

I strongly recommend the beautiful, suggestive and worthwhile restaurant. we take the ticket to go to the restaurant, and have the table near the window. we go to the waiter with everything we have put to the sign, to be accompanied to the table, they have not calculated us in the least and ok ... so we go to theke and ask what lamp we have to tell us that we can choose among the free, we put ourselves, and here we start ordering the worst, a waiter with merrier the result I took, and I left, so I don't judge the kitchen, but the staff. I repeat, the environment is beautiful, but if I came back, I would only take the ticket to go upstairs, and I would stop at the bar to enjoy the intentional...

As a treat for my boyfriends birthday I booked us a 'VIP Dinner' which was 2 courses, with wine, water and a window seat. We paid more for the view than the food. The view of berlin whilst rotating in a restaurant 207m high next to your other half with the sun setting in the distance sounds perfect. And to be honest it almost was. The only thing that let it down was the food, it wasn't anything special. The wine was good though, so that's the important thing right? I would advise not to dress too smartly, though some people (like us) had paid for the 'VIP' experience and had dressed up a bit, people were arriving from a days sight-seeing in t-shirt, shorts and trainers. Everything about the tv tower sets it up to be the perfect dining experience; from the beautiful scenic views of Berlin to the fine dining food it offers. Unfortunately, after this occasion we were left with a bad taste in our mouths. The waiting staff were particularly unpleasant and rude because we were younger than the average couple (and perhaps didn't fit in) and the "VIP package" deal that we bought prior to our visit was actually a sham and way too overpriced compared to the actual menu. We ended up paying €35 more each with this package than if we had just paid separately I.e. It was €85 for the VIP package but fast track window seat tickets in were €23.50, the food was €35 for what...

So me and my girlfriend went there to eat the view was the only thing that was good about the restaurant. We went with the menu 1 which includes 3 courses, we ordered a beer each. Unfortunately my girlfriend dint like the beer she got and wanted to return it and get a white wine instead after that every waiter was pretty much b**chy, i dont know if it wad because we wanted to return the beer or they are always like that but what i know is that the whole time we were there none of the waiters wanted to be there and pretty much tried to ignore us as much as they could.
