"I can't seem to stop finding great eats in Hochheim and I think I've been here more than any other restaurant recently! Everything I've eaten here is more than amazing and the setting on the patio is superb! The service is awesome and just to...eat here is such an experience! I initially started to commonly get the rumpsteak with herb butter and roasted potatoes. But then I got the cordon bleu that was delicious, the schnitzels are the best in Germany, the riesling soup is a great starter, and they recently had a burger menu that was phenomenal! My wife and I are constantly bringing new friends here to eat because we love the place that much! GO HERE AND EAT, YOU'LL LOVE IT!"

Leckere Essen, lediglich das „Eulchen“ Bier schmeckt nicht so gut.

Wow, the reviews are right. The portions here are huge! Very happy with the food and service at Riesling, and eating in the beautiful courtyard was pleasant.

I enjoy the local cuisine at the many Hochheim restaurants. Riesling Stuben has a more interesting menu than most. While they don't make their own wine, they carry several local vintners and others as well. The courtyard dining area is beautiful. The service was great.

Absolutely charming restaurant in a beautiful old world town. The building is quaint and feels like you are in someone’s home. Service is warm, friendly and efficient. Food was delicious but portions are huge, bring a good appetite. And as you might imagine, great wines...on offer

We stumbled upon this place during our stay in Hochheim. The roads there are very narrow and a lot of places are hard to find, so we were lucky to find this one. We sat outside in their beautiful courtyard and had the best food served by a very nice waiter, that spoke English. I will definitely go there again.

I ordered steak and got the whole cow! Seriously never seen a steak so big and so well-cooked and it was quality beef. I would have been happy with half of it - and the price was ok.Sat under the vine on the patio, great atmosphere and good service.German restaurants often don't accept credit cards so don't get caught out like I did - again! So annoying! This is a good restaurant with a special atmosphere in a quaint old town with a lot of history.

This is a lovely restaurant in a beautiful town. There are many restaurants in Hochheim, but this one caught our eye because of the lovely courtyard and we were not disappointed! The food and choice was excellent and plentiful (too much really!) accompanied with an excellent bottle of local Riesling. We dined outside in the courtyard and there is another lovely seating area up stairs. Service was very good and the prices were very reasonable would recommend it.

"Chaplins Steakhouse Restaurant. Name and description – as suitable for Chaplin – in black: Thus, the great actor in the restaurant appears in pictures and as a life-size figure, one of his brands, the melon, as a lampshade over the tables and other loving details such as an old phone cell or a gramophone set suitable for decorative accents without being overloaded somewhere. Steakhouse stands for a part of the food supply, various meat variations from hip steak to fillet steak in several sizes, each with added salad, bread and herbal butter, which can be supplemented by numerous supplements and sauces. The restaurant refers to the other dishes such as soups, appetizers, salads, fatuccins, carvings, burgers, salmon, etc., as well as to the offered class of the restaurant, because the decoration described with the leather benches and chairs creates a feel-good atmosphere. On Tuesday and Thursday there are special carving or steak offers, as can be seen from the well-made, informative homepage. Through an invitation of the dear circle of friends I have been in Chaplins for the first time. It is clear that even with a small card the whole group did not get their food at the same time, but after a small panne at the beginning, where the drinks were tapped without carbonic acid, which was then corrected without condition, everything went well. The dishes were table, but there were time differences between the first and the last table, probably for reasons of capacity in the kitchen. My Black Angus Burger, which I first critically anesthetized because the cheese pane had not run, proved to be solid, delicate, juicy, tasty, first together with the Newcastle Brown Ale; the dishes of my family, a really delicate rumpsteak, gnocchi in Basilikum cream, or salmon fillet in dill cream sauces were all Mediterranean with them. So the Chaplin has left a good impression with me: you sit comfortably, the card offers a nice bandwidth without being too big, the service is friendly and the food tastes!"
