"So let's start with the positives: food is outstanding. We had a family birthday meal and the soups, the salads, and the mains were really good. Quality is noticeable and we will always come back here for that. In terms of service, don't expect too...much. Our reservation was messed up which is not a big deal, happens. BUT: the attitude of the waiter was below acceptable. In addition, they teams seems not to know well where their food items come from. From the region is not enough... So bring patience and low expectations on service you won't be disappointed by the food."

The hotel asked us to be at the table no later than so of course we were there on time. The first dish was served at The last dish (of was served at Very good food, but you have to be...patient!

We enjoyed a good dinner at Ringhotel Aquarium. The service and food was quite good but our expectations were higher. The waiter was impatient and too pushy compared to our plans for a relaxed evening.

We sat down on a white linen table, linen serviettes and ordered two black forest gateaus with coffee. Five minutes later we were in cake heaven! Just wonderful! And real coffee! We will come back for a real Dinner the next time! View menu

What a nice treat. German local cuisine mixed with italian cuisine. Fine wines and local spirits. We had the ‘surprise dinner’ where you actually do not know the dishes. Everyone of them was an absolute joy. Especially the White tomato soup and the bärlich gnochi.

Great hotel, fab location, contemporary rooms great food and service. Can't ask for more! We arrived during a weekend fair with live music, boat parade down the canals and lots of people, not planned but pleasant surprise! Made the entry via car to the...hotel challenging but we got in!

The food was good though not at the gourmet level. Our waiter was fluent in English and German and with a lovely sense of humour. All waiters wear masks, and guests are required to wear masks when picking food at the buffet. Breakfast was splendid...with a wide range of food to choose from View menu

We dropped in to have a late lunch or early dinner on our way to Hamburg to catch the Autozug for Lörach in the evening. Parking was easy just in front of the restaurant. We ordered Scholle Müllerin a beer and a glass of Silvaner....The plaice was served with parsley potatoes and a salad and was not just very well fried but fresh and juicy in the meat just fantastic. The restaurant experience began with a small ´pre-starter´ from the chef, a tasty cucumber mousse topped with a few prawns. My husband chose prawn soup and whole fried plaice with prawn filling, both dishes were very good. I chose a set meny with two...servings of duck (confit of duck as starter followed by perfectly cooked duck breast). The problem was that the otherwise very attentive waitress forgot to serve my dessert (espresso panna cotta) and never asked whether we'd like coffee.

"Already at our last visit to Friedrichstadt we noticed this restaurant: always well frequented – that speaks for itself. You can't miss the restaurant at the walk over the very nice marketplace with the fascinating Renaissance gables. Due to the beautiful summer weather, we take place outside the restaurant and can still watch the drive on the market. This is very rainy today, because tomorrow the “Friedrichstädter Rosenträume” begins. The service is very fast with a menu and asks us first about our drinks. Also the thirst forces us to Flensburger Radler in the bottle for 2,50 , a Pino Gris 0.2 for 4,00 , Vaihinger apple juice 0.2 for 2,20 . And why is the beer/river significantly cheaper than the apple juice??? It is Matje's time and so we decide for Matjes according to housewife type with apple onion cream and roast potatoes. For this, we will be able to reap 8,50€ later. The children's card is chosen on “Nemo” advice: Seelachsfilet fried with Pommes Frites and Remoulade. Cost for this €6.50. Before we get our food delivered, we can observe various other guests. It is no longer much going on, Germany plays its WM quarterfinals in football, but the 20 seats in front of the restaurant are well visited. It seems to have tasted or tasted the other guests. It's only vaccinated by football – not by food. To the restaurant, its indoor life, the toilets etc. we can report very little at this point – we just sat outside. The tables outside are clean and all right. Food remains and dishes are quickly removed. Our service is flashy and friendly, also asks again during the meal whether it tastes. What more do you want? The map offers the visitor a good selection of fish. From crab soup to cutter choll to zander fillet, the dishes are freshly prepared here – so also the statement in the menu. Of course there are also film potatoes in different variations and various salads. If you don't like fish, you get a sausage – I wouldn't have expected it in this house. Further information can also be found in the well-structured Internet appearance. To our food: the Matjes in 2 variations – once classic and once Sherry Matjes. Both variations a true pleasure. For Matjes 5*. The apple onion cream good, not overwhelming, unfortunately too little for me. The roast potatoes correspond to the usual holstein quality. In total we give 4* for a good meal. Also in terms of quantity. The price of 8,50€ is well valued and corresponds to the average here in the region. Unfortunately, only the pommes can convince the children's court. The fish, is he really fresh? I am convinced of the rejection and must confirm it: almost tasteless. Both taste and appearance feed my guess that it could be TK goods – but I don't want to condemn anyone here. We firmly believe that both our child and I cannot win this fish and for this reason only forgive 2*. Also the assessment for the price performance ratio will suffer from this – for this food to demand 6,50€, especially in a fish restaurant, we find inappropriate and overpriced. Conclusion: At dinner today, next to light, also shadows. We wouldn't have expected that. Nevertheless, we would like to make a recommendation to the House whether the service and the offer are."

"At the Friedrichstädter Marktplatz there is a wealth of restaurants and cafes.. Some have an opposite terrace, so the outdoor customers also come to their costs. So also the Italian restaurant La Trattoria. Otherwise there would be a lot to say to Friedrichstadt. For example, the city is below sea level and was still North Sea 1000 years ago. Or that the city is surrounded by beautiful ridges. It is also unique that you do not need a boat driver's license to drive the shipping routes in Friedrichstadt and 20km. Beautiful of course the many, well preserved approx. 400 years old facades with their old entrance doors – all different. Easy fascinating... operation Since we are not on the terrace, but within the restaurant, our service has only short paths and is always available quickly. Otherwise we can observe a very fast operation. There was no demand in the meantime. There is no reason to criticise us here. The Food Die, for us too extensive, menu with approx. 150 dishes naturally offer a lot of pizza and pasta. Our selection in detail: Gnocchi Reali (9,50€ – Potato noodles with spinach in Gorgonzola sauce: very tasty gnocchi, beautiful lots of spinach, fine spiced gogonzola sauce, a total enjoyment. Also from the crowd very good. Tortellini Classici (7,50€ : Tortellini with front ham in cream sauce: also here very good tortellini, but the front ham in the cream sauce went tastefully a little under. Here the ham was missing its own taste. Small pizza salami (4.50€ : 5 slices of salami, strong in taste, but not sharp, on one, in the middle somewhat too thin pizza. All right. Pizza Salmone (9, € with smoked salmon, cherry tomatoes and ruccola: well covered, tasted also good, but very thin in the middle. Penne Bolognese as a children's portion (4.50€ : here a large portion, not sharp. It tasted the kids. 0,3l alcohol-free drinks cost 3. €, 0.4l then 4. €. The Alster 0.5l hits beech with 3.50€. All in all, this house meets the requirements of a good Italian restaurant. At this point our unrestricted recommendation. The ambience Helle orange shades dominate. The tables with a larger and smaller central ceiling are covered in an appealing manner. Add salt and pepper, a small flower and the ice map. The windows of different heights are striking – you can't see them out from every table. But this is of course not changeable. In the windows are Yuccapalmen and corresponding decoration. The pizza is made in the front part of the restaurant so that even direct out house sale is possible. Here we have observed that the ingredients are kept partly in stock in buckets. Pros that everything is flattering in this restaurant. Cleanliness We did not notice any deficiencies in both the local and the toilets."
