"General A sheepskin and friend of us, who lives in Kahl, has often returned with his wife to the Ristorante/Pizzeria Adria in Kahl since last summer. Both in the beer garden and in the restaurant. At regular intervals, he tells me that the food there is at least as good in comparison to the food at our Italian tribe, if not in some dishes even better, but especially in terms of quantity and PLV clearly has the nose in front. To say that I have to go there too. Since we are in the area of Italians like sand by the sea and my wife and I also have several favorites that we like to visit, it took his time until treasures agreed to return to the Adriatic. On Sunday it was ready. It should be a lunch. The restaurant is located on the road from Kahl towards Hanau on the left. A few parking spaces are available in parking bays on the opposite side. To the entrance you have to handle three steps upwards. If you have to go to the toilet in the restaurant, it's going down a few steps. In summer from the beer garden, everything seems to be flattering. This as a small hint for Gehandicapte. Service 4* At 12:45 we entered the restaurant without reservation. A friendly young man greeted us cordially and offered us a table for two people, whose location did not really like us. But since it was the only 2 table in the room, and otherwise only two 4 tables were free, among them one reserved, this offer was logical and we accepted it. After we sat at the table for a while, we did not find the situation so bad. Our cat table The young man brought us the menus that also barg the drinks offers, as well as a map with the wine recommendations of the week. At the same time, he asked if we would like to order something to drink, which actually decided, after all we wanted to look at the recommendations. He also drew our attention to fresh daily dishes. He shared the slender and serving service with a woman who was like the boss for me. The drinks came quickly, the main dishes at the same time and after a dessert request was also asked. Both were friendly, attentive and also asked if everything is okay and, of course, whether it tasted. And that was not just for us. All guests had the full attention of the two. We felt comfortable. Eat 4* Sweetheart didn't want an appetizer, because of the line! But I, namely a tomato soup (Crema di Pomodori, 5, € . Opticiously in a large deep plate this came quite quickly to the table. The consistency was not as much as I know tomato soup from the Italian. With herbs and two half baked bread slices, also with herbs on it, she tasted excellent. Tomato taste was only very gentle. Nevertheless, the soup had the certain something of a really good taste. Let's have a different kind of tomato soup. And so it came as it had to come, sweetheart tried whether my praise was too, and I was allowed to leave her half to eat. Crema di Pomodori After the plate was empty and we were still philosophical about this type of preparation, our two main dishes were served at the same time after a pleasant waiting period. My main food came from the day recommendation: I decided on my question whether fresh fish and a yes for fillet from the Dorade on Mediterranean vegetables. Two beautiful fillets lay with the skin upwards on a variety of vegetables. A few pieces of potatoes were included. The vegetables perfectly cooked and deliciously tasted. Various herbs and a few rosemary branches made a very good taste with broth. The filets were perfect. Skin slightly crispy. The meat is still glazed. The court immediately reminded me of our last vacations in our hotel on the Italian Adriatic, where it is cooked by Mamma. I then gave this praise to the supposed boss when she asked for my satisfaction when she was cleared. The portion was sufficient and easy to digest. Later, €19.80 was charged. Doradenfilet on Mediterranean vegetables Sweetheart chose the Triangoli from the heading: Fresh noodles. The filling was in the map, but honey is no longer sure what she read. Could have been a farce of rock mushrooms and ricotta. A non-homemade product, as our query at the order returned, but handcrafted with the ingredients of fresh mushrooms as well as parmesan pears and cream sauce. Visually beautifully represented and also tastefully a perfect hit. Your plate was empty. And saturation was also given. This can also be expected in a pasta dish for 12, €. Triangoli Instead of a dessert, we chose two Espressi (€2.10 each) who fully fulfilled our expectations for this drink. Espresso Ambiente 3* The decor fits. I guess about 30 to 35 seats. The chairs are comfortable. On the tables are white fabric table cloths. The decoration consists of a candle in the stand, which was also lit by the young man, and a flower in the waterglass. Cutlery and paper napkins also provide the impression of a covered table. Cleanliness 4* The whole room has left a clean and well maintained impression. The toilets that have already come into the years also work neatly well maintained. Definitely a recommendation. Even though for both of us, “if it arises, again” applies. The reason is simple: The food was very good, but this attribute applies to some of our basics Italians. Compared to these, we found the PLV in the Ristorante Adriatic. Overall impression: 3.5 – if it results, again (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results, again, 4 – happy again, 5 – absolutely again"
