Robyn's Nest Cafe - Menu

I recently had a negative experience at this restaurant. The staff were unfriendly, the food was awful, and the children's play area and toys were in poor condition. I left feeling very disappointed.

Had a absolutely delicious spicy avocado on toast. Both the food and the service were excellent. We had brought the dogs with us and they revived some free goodies too. I will certainly be returning!

I used to adore this charming café, but now I believe it is too expensive. I had to wait a considerable amount of time for breakfast, and during our last visit, the management made us feel like a burden. I was not pleased with the experience. View menu

I have been here once for breakfast and once for lunch in the last 3 weeks. The food is excellent, the service is excellent and its great value for money. You may wait for your food but the wait is worth every minute as its served fresh hot and tasty.

We went to the robyns nest for breakfast on Saturday morning and it was very good. My iced coffee was perfect and the service was OK. My food was nice except my egg was hard and not runny and the toast was a bit chewy but other than that very impressed and will be returning.

Whilst the food and atmosphere is good the service offered is slowly slipping. Arrived today for lunch just after 2pm to be advised the kitchen had just closed. On a Monday the two other local cafes are closed so would have thought there was business to be had but maybe wrong. So just cakes and drinks after 2pm. Pity View menu

Rather disappointing visit. Tables outside had not been cleaned (we ended up having to ask for serviettes to wipe them ourselves! which was puzzling as the café was fully booked inside and the sun was shining today! Both of our cakes were dry and that’s always a massive turn off I’m afraid. There won’t be a second visit.

We had planned to have lunch at this restaurant, but when we arrived at 1.30, we were told there was a one-hour wait. Since it was raining, we decided not to wait. The waitress kindly suggested a pub across the street or an Italian deli in the garden center nearby. We ended up having a delightful lunch at the recommended spot, and we appreciated the helpful suggestion. We will definitely come back again in the future.

Robyn Today we were advised we had gone over our allotted 1 hour, which was news to us. Especially as we had just got a new round of coffees and cakes just minutes before. You are the only cafe in the area to limit your table time. We spent £38 over two courses today and were advise we needed to vacate the table as we were over our allotted 1 hour for a couple. If we were four we could of had 1.5 hrs! Is this a new form of discrimination!. So the tables who just had four coffees or the tables with two adults and two babies/children can have longer even though they spend less!.
