I popped in for a few drinks and the lovely Jo and Kirsty told me about the amazing new cask beer they had on called respire and their recommendation was spot on! Definitely a beer I will continue to drink!

The atmosphere at this restaurant is excellent and it is always busy. The staff, especially Kirsty, always go above and beyond to meet all of your needs. They even put the Rugby game on for us today. Thank you, guys!

This was a fantastic find! The staff, Kirsty and Donna, were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. They even gave our dog water and a treat. The food, prepared by Paul, was delicious and served quickly and hot. I highly recommend this place.

I recently dined at the Royal Oak with my young family and were served by Kirsty. We ordered our food and drinks, which were promptly delivered. Chef Jane did an excellent job with our meal, and we had no complaints about the food. Despite reading some negative reviews, I found that the toilets were clean, the beer was cold, and overall we had a pleasant experience. The big question is would I return? Absolutely. Thank you to the great team for a job well done.

The Royal Oak turned out to be a really great find when I visited last Sunday while desperately searching for a please to watch the 6 Nations Scotland France match. Surprised to find a wide range of well kept beers, including good Cask IPAs. Apart from my guilty secret, Park Crackling, I did not try the food. But observing the customers around me noted very high quality and generously portioned Sunday lunches being consumed with enthusiasm. The pub itself is large, clean, well furnished so spoilt for choice for a place to sit.
