"Ruchi is an award-winning Nepalese tandoori takeaway and produces absolutely beautiful food from an extensive menu. It's open all day from 12.00 (not Sunday and is situated nestling within the tiny streets of Nant-y-Moel on a car park adjacent to the site of the village's former railway station. The food offered is exotic and very tasty, various tandoori roasted meat dishes, crispy chicken burgers, yummy chips, various curries, (Gurkha chicken curry, anyone? , Kashmiri fish chips, and many, many more. It would literally take months to try everything on the menu. Ruchi is family-owned and long-established. Drive over, spend some money, thrill your taste buds! An easy 5 stars from me, deserves 10. For us, living in Cwmparc, it's a glorious 15-minute drive over Bwlch mountain."

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and it was extremely disappointing. The quality, taste, and overall experience were all very poor. I do not recommend eating here.

At last, a decent Indian takeaway in the valley. Lovely authentic Nepalese cuisine cooked by Nepalese Cook and served by friendly local people. I'll definitely be back for another visit.

Ordered our second nightshift group meal, mine was a Nepali Set meal. Taste of all food very good, great chicken pakoras, gobi aloo was tasty and heat and flavour of the of Nepali curry was superb. Good rice and naan too. Best Indian/Nepalese I ve had. View menu

The service was terrible. Our food arrived late, and not everything we ordered was delivered. It took a few phone calls to resolve the issues, which unfortunately ruined our evening. I would not recommend ordering food for delivery. However, the meal was quite tasty once it finally arrived!

it was raining when we arrived there and had no warning that it was only one more ripped out, but the owner was warm enough to let us in and gave us free coffee while we were waiting. all employees were amazing. I loved her wraps and Masalaries. they also gave us some food. amazing experience!

I recently visited Ruchi Restaurant in Bridgend, Wales, and tried Nepalese cuisine for the first time. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The food was fresh and delicious, and my family loved it as well. If you're in Bridgend, Wales, I would highly recommend giving Ruchi Restaurant a try. View menu

I had ordered this takeaway because this town has nothing really to offer. No shops, No life. I can't even find my local waitrose i have in my hometown in England. Lovely views but the food was lovely and had lots of flavour. One problem is that i had this child come up to me and take my shoes and wallet. Never coming back. But the food was very nice XD

I typically don't like to leave negative reviews, but this delivery experience was the worst. I placed an order for 8:30 PM, but I wasn't home yet. They called me and said they would leave the food on my doorstep and I could reheat it if needed. This was completely unacceptable. I will never order from this restaurant again. I was told to call the manager at 10:30 PM. I will call and update you all on the outcome. Will the manager be able to save the business? I have never experienced such terrible customer service from the phone staff before.

"So came here last night 13th oct. 9 of us 2 of which 2 young kids. Had starter , calamari this was ok, sauce was nice. Main was lovely which was lasagne really quite tasty it came with chips which were nothing special if im honest, i ordered a side of garlic bread with it which was nice, The host was a nice guy very chatty, the staff seemed a little clumsy if im honest, just as we sat down a tray of drinks went down the back of my sister because the waitress wasn't looking what she was doing although accidents do happen so no biggy, although I will say nothing was offered! No extra drinks, a free starter, nothing!!! This brings me on to the cost. Not much beer choice at all, consisting of draught peroni which was are you sitting down) £6.50 a pint! So I ordered a bottle of bishops finger which i thought was a 500ml bottle, it didn't say on the menu the size of the drink which i think it should have, Well the bottle came and it was a 330ml bottle!! £4.70 for a 330ml bottle!!! im sorry but thats to much, come on guys. We all had a starter and a main with dessert each, i had the newyork cheesecake, which was ok but tasted abit like something frozen, didn't seem home made to me anyway. The Total bill came to just over £400!!! £60 of which was a service charge i was told by someone on the table, but the owner has now said that there was no service charge so if this is the case then i apologise), we were a decent size group but you know when you've gone somewhere and feel that the cost is just too much. Nice restaurant but too expensive imo."
