"I visited this restaurant regularly until Christmas 2021. this was my first visit this year and the property has changed again! in the front part of the restaurant were three lights turned on, the light was bad, the heating was...ab and there was no music at all. the waiter' had difficultities in the first part of my order for 2 plain and 2 spicy poppadome and a bottle cobra, after several repeated accusations he finally got it right, except to try to give me 2 bottles cobra at the same time. I decided to skip the starter and chicken jalfrezi mushroom rice and okra ordered. the food came, but the waiter treated the plate with bare hands and not covered with a served cloth, while he got the food I used my bag sanitiser to wipe the plate where he put his thumb. the chicken was tasteless and was possibly boiled, in which the whole meal was tasteless. I paid the bill and went around 9.45 clock within about 1 minute of my leave the restaurant closed and the roller shutters were closed. this was a Saturday night and it seemed that I had been their only eating in the customer. I don't think they'll survive much longer. a great scandal that a beautiful restaurant with a hygiene rating of 5 seems to be on the way last year."

good vegetarian options in a friendly local curry house. are generous, so we tend to go with a vegetable biryani with additional sides.

The thaka dahl is amazing, as is the onion bhaji. Am vegetarian and that's no problem with this menu as most dishes are available as a vegetarian option, plus there are lots of vegetable sides. The family who run the place are really friendly and...put our leftovers into containers to take home.

we visited rukhsana on Sunday to the birthday of my father. the host was very welcoming and well accommodated to our needs. decor is okay. but eating was nice and well enjoyed by all 11 guests including 2 children. my man said his huh. chilli masala was the best he tasted in all the restaurants he visited (which is much). I'm glad we went to tripadvisor thanks to the other reviews.

I've visited this restaurant on two occasions can guarantee it's a welcoming place. The owner, Abdul, makes it his business of knowing your first name addresses you accordingly. As for the food, it's substantial without being gluttonous. If, however, you're immune to salt...a quiet word may be necessary as this seasoning is used liberally. All in all, a quiet, friendly restaurant which is well worth a visit. View menu

Stayed at a friend's and ordered takeaway. Great option of dishes with a wide menu and fantastic option to order dishes as either a side or main. Enjoyed my chilli potato side, then discovered our vegetarian samosas were in fact meat. My veg sambar tasted...really bland and looked exactly the same colour as the aloo gobi and the chilli potato so the food felt very generic to me, unfortunately. The meat eaters enjoyed their rukshana chicken dishes and the guy on the phone was really nice. Just very disappointed with the dish and the meat mix-up. Not the best curry I've ever eaten, by a long way.

This restaurant is not in the most popular area of London and you would probably only go there you lived local. Inside the decor is nothing special but I did like the framed wooden art. Our family live nearby and have eaten there and had...quite a few takeaways and I have eaten there a couple of times when visiting. Six of us visited early evening as had 2 children in the party. The children made very welcome and I was pleased to see that child size portions were available of the more popular dishes. The meal was well cooked and really enjoyable. Had the poppadoms then the children had lemon chicken and a chicken tickka masala with pilau rice. We had a thali, biryanis and some side dishes wh...

"Me and my flatmates went to Naifs to celebrate one of our own's MA degree with a nice meal, and we are so glad that we did. Anne and the team were incredibly personable and friendly, which really stood out to us. As somebody who has worked many years in hospitality, one can tell that there is clearly a very tight-knit team at work here who does what they do out of and with love. We really enjoyed the concluding chat with the kitchen team about the amazingly delicious olive oil they served us with the bread it comes straight from the chef's uncle's olive plantation! The atmosphere was really lovely as well, and a lot of thought clearly went into it: there were lots of candles, soft light, beautiful serving plates. We found the decor very tasteful in general: the restaurant has a cozy, but elevated bistro feel to it which makes it the perfect place for a broad variety of occasions. We had the set menu, which at 27 GBP came at very good value. The menu really demonstrated just how colorful vegan and vegetarian spreads can be: the colors on the table alone were such a delight to behold! Needless to say it also all tasted amazing. We particularly liked the mushrooms in lemony broth, the dhal and the aubergine stew. Every dish had a creative spin on it that made it into something we had never tasted in that way before. The wine that was recommended to us was very nice as well. We finished our meal with a selection of British cheeses, which was very well put together. Naifs focuses on seasonal and regional ingedrients, which is another factor that really convinced us, and which is something that more restaurants should focus on. Whether you're a veggie or not: if you want to dine at an all around truly special place, you need to try Naifs. Keep up the awesome work, guys we will be back very, very soon."

"my friend and I went to capitulate for dinner to celebrate his birthday, as was capitula, we thought the only decent restaurant in blackheath. all the others seem to be pushing down quickly. we have been in the past often in the capitulas, and the food and services were good we had no appetizers and ordered only one main meal (black foam and black bell), because we were not huge hungry because we were eating a lot of birthday cakes earlier! we had a glass of wine and were offered a piece of bread. 35 minutes later we waited for our food. in this time no one came to ask if we were in order or offer us more drinks. I asked the manager if our food was ready. he said it would be 5 minutes without a statement of delay then disappeared 10 minutes later there was no sign of food or manager. That is why we decided to go because we lost interest in eating. we have to go and the manager came by. he told us the delay was due to a big party in the ground floor. this was not the case, there was a group of 8 people who had finished their meal for a long time. we were there earlier when it was much more business and the service was not so bad. while we waited, we saw a customer who had finished their meal, slipped £20 into the manager hand when he left. Perhaps the workers need bribe to provide good services? it is such a scandal, but another blackheath restaurant has become complicit and believes that it with the treatment of its customers without respect. I will vote for one with my feet and will not eat again in this restaurant. I will also leave everyone I don't know to go there"
