"Wonderful place for a coffee some food and a catch up, not too loud. Gluten free options are amazing, all prepared I'm a separate part of the kitchen! The menu is mainly different types of sandwiches and they've got some delightful and rather bougie hashbrowns too. Everything on the menu can be gluten free. My only constructive criticism is that I wish they did an English breakfast, they've got the bacon, eggs, bread and hash browns on the menu, they could just add beans, ideally a sausage and they'd have it really Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: Everything on the menu can be gluten free"

Felt the warm sense of welcome as soon as we walked in the entrance, being happily greeted by a member of staff. Excellent service. Homemade Chai Latte made my wife very happy. Generous helping of butter, not in a foil packet on the sourdough toast. WONDERFUL strawberry, lime and mint jam. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

"We had made a reservation at The Wilderness a while back, but unfortunately our plans were disrupted by COVID. Finally, we were able to visit for lunch on Saturday, and it was definitely worth the wait. We chose the ten-course tasting menu along with a couple of glasses of their 'hacked' wines. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco and water, and our meal began. The variety of dishes was outstanding; from crispy pig cheek with apricot gel, to steak tartare, turbot, and mackerel. Standout dishes included a delicious beetroot ice-cream with a rich ajoblanco, and a fantastic mushroom and 'bread pudding' that was like a gourmet version of mushrooms on toast. The service was excellent, each course was tasty, and the wines, especially the Chardonnay 2.0 and the Vermouth, were top-notch. While the meal was on the pricier side, the quality of the food, service, ambiance, and music made it all worthwhile."

"Kuula Poké is a great healthy lunch option located opposite Snow Hill station, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect for a midday meal, the prices range between £1 and £10 per person. "This is my favourite place to grab lunch. It has a wide variety of salads, soups, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and some hot food. The prices are good and the food tastes amazing. The staff are really friendly and very switched on when it comes to allergy information. My diet is quite restrictive, however I have so much choice here. I can't recommend it enough!"
