"2015 has been a pretty amazing year. It has been emotional. I changed careers paths, made new friends and got a little more rounder by the end of the year than I started ahah but hey ho there's nothing wrong with a little more boootaaay! Aaand there is no better way to reminisce about life and make plans for the future than with a large steamy bowl of pho. Whilst I embark on the road to tone my 6 pack of jelly rolls and get back a more stream lined form. A visit to Salvation In Noodles was a necessity. Vietnamese food is known to be one of the healthiest cuisines in the world after all. Uhhhhh what do you mean I shouldn't order deep fried chicken wings?! Especially when they look like THIS. It would be rude not to. These moist and succulent wings were armoured in a crispy, sticky salty sweet casing that was so more ish you will start chopstick fights just to get your hands on the last one. Mark my words, friendships were lost over fighting for these babies. So, it would be probably advisable to order an extra portion. They are dangerous. We also ordered taro fries, Vietnamese spring rolls dumplings on the side. What did I say were my New Year's Resolutions? ...let's just eat today and REGRET NOTHING. I was half expecting the taro fries to be rather chalky, but don't be fooled by their unassuming appearance. They were extra crunchy yet soft slices of joy. The pork to vegetable and vermicelli ratio for these spring rolls were PERFECT. Next up we lined up our pho. It was time to get slurping' I went for the Bun Ho Hue Rare steak Pork Belly in a hot and spicy Lemongrass soup £9.80. What was placed before me was this magnificent bowl of steamy noodles, in the most flavoursome broth with al dente rice noodles AND melt in your mouth tender pork and steak. You know you want to. Shimmy that booty on to SIN for these heavenly bowls of pho. YUMMEI's 8.5/10 It was a short and steamy affair as I hungrily slurped down this beauty ;"

This place was indeed our salvation as a hungry fivesome roaming the area in search of a bite to eat! This place looked busy, with an exposed brick hipster

We were very hungry when we arrived at this restaurant and were fortunate to find a table on a Friday night. We shared the chicken wings and a noodle salad and left completely satisfied! The salad bowls are large and very fresh, and the chicken wings were some of the best I've ever had. I would definitely come back here again.

Salvation in Noodles may not offer the shiniest service, but it is a perfectly acceptable hipster Vietnamese choice. In an area like Finsbury Park with limited dining options, it is a good choice to have. Personally, I see Salvation in Noodles as a reliable alternative to Dotori, and a less embarrassing option than Eden's Cottage. Overall, I really enjoy this restaurant.

The Finsbury Park branch is the second of SINs with the original SIN housed in Dalston (that was rather enjoyable to type). It's tiny, a 30 seater at most but it's quick to feed and has a decent vibe. I've had a very enjoyable meal at SiN and I don't even think I've had the best things on the menu yet (although those phu quoc wings are absolutely gorgeous) and if that's the case then I'm excited to have more. I've already got my eyes on the bun rieu, goi ga, and the Vietnamese dumplings for the next visit. View menu

When my friend posted a pic of a hot bowl of steamy noodles on instagram, I was dying to get my lips around those noodles and go in for the slurp! . Salvation In Noodles in Finsbury Park was the place we went to and don't you just love it when a foodie friend of yours recommends a place to you?? It's a sure guarantee that it will be good! I was expecting a gold medal and what I got was a world record! If you've never tried Vietnamese food before, look no further! For a place with top quality Vietnamese food, this place will have you hooked!

they would have to present a pretty convincing argument to enter me for dinner in london. but the rettung in noodles only creates that by providing the best vietnamese food I had in this city so far. the summer rolls are quite standard tariff and I could give or take the dumplings. but the banh xeo is an absolute winner. and while the phu quoc wings seem to all the published delight (and at tasting, it is very easy to see why) it is the absolutely delicious turmeric tent mi quang with pig bell that come back for more and more. the atmosphere is dizzy, and there are often slang, so my ones are pointed. Come there early!

I recently visited a restaurant and was not warmly greeted by the hostess when I arrived. I asked if I could sit somewhere and she rudely replied that I could sit anywhere, including at the bar. I was quickly helped by a waiter named Sam who provided excellent customer service. The atmosphere was not what I had expected, as it was quite loud. Unfortunately, the chicken pho that I ordered was not great. The noodles were not soft and the broth lacked flavor. However, I must commend the fact that I did not feel as thirsty as I usually do after eating Vietnamese food, which may be due to less MSG. Overall, I would give the restaurant a rating of 3.5. You would need to present a fairly compelling argument to get me to trek across London for dinner…but Salvation in Noodles manages to give me just that by offering up the best Vietnamese food I have had in this city to date. The summer rolls are pretty standard fare and I could give or take the dumplings…but the banh xeo is an absolute winner. And whilst the Phu Quoc wings seem to get all the publicised glory (and upon tasting them, it is very easy to see why), it is the absolutely delicious turmeric-tinged mi quang with pork belly that has me coming back for more. And more. For this alone, the trip is worth it. Atmosphere is buzzy and there are often queues, so my one tip…get there early!

After my second trip to Vietnam last year the arrival of SIN in Finsbury Park was a dream come true. Its a rather small restaurant, with a few booth and a long communal table, simple but nice décor and an open kitchen. The bar is situated in the middle of the restaurants and makes a great place for waiting when ordering takeaway. Especially the service at the bar was outstanding! Even though it was busy, they took the time and explained the different cocktails, etc to me. The Phu quoc wings are to die for, as well as the Vietnamese pork spring rolls and Pho. The food never disappoints and brings back the memories of the wonderful times I had in Vietnam. Its definitely one of my favourite pla...
