"Great Italian food. The portions are quite filling (at least for the items that my friends and I had). The mozzarella pizza bread is absolutely tantalizing. I highly recommend it. But with the fairly large portion size, sharing this starter with a friend is probably be a good idea. You may even want to split your main dish if you aren't a big eater. The service was pretty good, mind you The restaurant was empty except for my friends and I. The staff were very polite and helpful. The food prices were quite reasonable for.the amount of food that is served. To sum it all up, if you are in or near Croydon and are looking for some good Italian food, try Salve Italian Restaurant. It will be worth your while."

This is an Italian restaurant in East Croydon, a small, cosy and intimate place serving up scrumptious Italian food, I had the home made Italian sausage with short pasta which was absolutely delicious. I went there last night and it was rather busy for a weekday and unfortunately the waitress who was the only person who could speak English was overwhelmed with the crowd, she did do very well and worked very hard, I applaud her, the only downside was that I had to wait at least 45mins for my food to arrive but it was well worth it.
