"Our dining was outstanding, with great food and service, in a magic scenary -the views in the second floor during sunset were amazing. Octopus salad for starter was abundant, and the traditional cozze soup was very tasty. For first course we had pasta with prawns and pistacchio cream, amazing. For second course we ordered grilled fish and fish with capers and tomato souce which were exquisite. For desserts they have traditional dolci, we had the Caprese cakes (a lemon and a chocolate one), recommended! The owner, Luigi, and the waiters were very friendly and professional. I absolutely recommend for an unforgettable Neapolitan experience!"

We did the whole experience with the family. Learn how to do a pizza. Pizza was really good. If you want Gluten free pizza(my wife can't have gluten) , the one in the photo, it was the best gluten free I ever tried.

What an awesome experience! As you can see from the photo this pizza making class is for all ages and Luigi was a fantastic instructor! If ever in Naples this is a must do. They send you recipe for the dough as well which is also great. Thanks for a fond memory!

We arrived for a how to make pizza class and left as part of the family. The pizza here is to die for and there is no better Margherita pizza to eat! Luigi and his team are kind, fortuitous and attentive PLUS the food is amazing. As Luigi said, you pay for great food but also get great service. Can not recommend enough! View menu

We loved our experience here. We took the pizza cooking class through GetYourGuide and really enjoyed it. The instructor was very friendly and well spoken. The class is very straightforward and she was patient with us learning. The pizza at the end of the class is amazing and a large portion that is hard for some people to finish. The crust was very delicious and perfectly cooked.

My partner bought me a pizza making experience at San Carlo 17 with owner and head pizzaiolo, Luigi. Such a great experience. Luigi was really welcoming and explained everything about pizza before getting us to make our own dough and then create pizzas with dough he had ready for the oven. The pizza was delicious, as was the bruschetta and the tasty beer served as part of the package. Luigi also showed us how well he managed his business when he handled 100+ school kids and their stressed out teachers turning up for lunch while he was running his pizza workshop. Impressive!!

"Very nice ambience. The restaurant is located in an old construction near Baia's port. You eat in the middle of an old courtyard, feeling like you are back in the 1950s. Very good tableware. A bit less comfortable is the entrance, as the place is right on the street, very busy and dangerous on saturday night. Service is good too, just a bit harrassing with waiters explaining every dish with long descriptions one forgets the second lates they finish. That is part of an atmosphere the owner wants to be classy and elegant. The problem is that food is not at the same level. I mean, it is good and fresh, especially raw fish, but preparations are too standard to justify an averagely high price. In a table of 7, we had cold and hot starters including raw seafood and one main dish (paranza fried fish for some and catch of the day for the others), plus 5 desserts and white wine. I believe 310€ are a bit too much for what we had, not really in terms of quantity, but for the quality of the preparations. One example is the cold starter: a dish composed by 5 different starters to be eaten from left to right, from lighter to stronger taste. You start with one single raw sea truffle, go on with a tuna tartare, one single raw baby red shrimp with burrata, raw calamari slices and finally smoked salmon. Good quality and right taste, but nothing new, no special work from the chef, that's food you can find in every good-standard restaurant in the area of Naples. Same with the fish we had: too simple. In my view, simplicity is a positive value in food, but not for a place that wants to construct its own style on a classy and elaborate (and expensive) cuisine concept. Different situation concerning the desserts which I personally didn't try but left my friends with very good sensations. In conclusion, it's worth a try, can be good for a romantic tête-à-tête or a dinner with friends, but don't expect a special experience."
