"beautifully located on the pedestrian zone large road, it was easy to go to a table. long expected service finally took our order and despite the ordering of drinks as appetizers, starter everything together with the main course. Why should they order starts? Oh, of course, they missed a glass of drinks ordered that finally arrived after eating. the tagliatelle con gorgonzola had zero gorgonzola, the spaghetti rustica came swimming in doses tomaten with points of simplliest breakfast sinking. food prices are low, and they get what they pay, drinks are higher price and they are what they are."

Just had my first fresh glutenfree pizza in 6 years! They charge €3,50 extra for the glutenfree pizza, seems reasonable. Price /quality is oké.

We ordered a pizza, the base seemed homemade and was bigger than the other pizzas ordered. The service was top notch, and was very serious about gluten allergy. Definitely a huge recommendation from us

perfect if you want a good pasta. large portions, we had the flu during our visit, so we couldn't finish our eating, but it was delicious. the staff is super friendly and eating came fast. also very reasonable prices. View menu

we were a couple that had every pizza. it seemed as if the pizza was a finished pizza from a load and they just heated it up. we have eat after 10 minutes, which is unlikely to be a homemade Italian pizza. there was no taste for eating. we do not recommend the restaurant, it was terrible and not worth the 30 euro that we have paid.

At the entrance, prices looked OK, so we went in, a family of five. The food... looked Italian... but I expected that the pasta would be homemade, that is what I am used to in such restaurants. Taste? It tasted like any other industrial made...pasta. Sorry, but I had the feeling that they were only concerned about money, not about quality.

They where use to make gluten-free, and know that its important to keep things apart. They could make all pizzas gluten-free, they looked homemade, and the gluten-free pizza was bigger than the regular one’s. My daughter was very happy and she could bring her leftovers home. They regular pizzas was also very delicious and fresh, so a good experience for the hole family. View menu

Tried the pasta one day for lunch and also was there for dinner and had a very nice steak! The pasta with pieces of steak and broccoli was nice and tasty and the evening dinner was even better. Only thing i would change was the...amount of cream. If the steak is floading in a creamy sauce, dont serve spinach in cream on the side. Would have been nice with some fried veggies on the side. Very nice and polite waitress. Will be back for sure.

Was here for lunch with some friends and ordered 3 different pizzas. They was almost not baked, so soft and slimy. No taste either. So we hardly ate anything. When the waitress came to clean the table she asked if all was ok ?! She...could see the huge amount of pizza still there. We said it was not baked and her reply was we should have said so and she could have put them back in the oven. Jesus crist they should now how long a pizza need. So avoid this place

"I went there yesterday for lunch while visiting Flensburg. Having beautiful spring weather I was a little hesitant to sit indoors (basement) but upon entering I felt welcomed and settled down for lunch. The restaurant's decor is nothing to write to home about. But the aromas coming from the kitchen smelled right! And we were there to eat.We ordered # 37. Korma Chicken (11,50 €) and #46. Daal Tarka (9,50 €) but since it was lunch time, both dishes cost 7,00 € each. The main courses were served along side a bowl of basmati rice. I just wish salad was included. With two ciders and 2 naans our bill totalled to 24 €.Being from Pakistan and eating home cooked Pakistani food, I was really impressed with their Korma. I have never enjoyed a korma in europe before. But this one tasted really good, it actually tasted of something! Of course the best korma you always get at home. But I will definitely be ordering it again at Shalimar. The daal was just as good. The highlights for us were the chicken korma and the baked naans. They had a bite to them and complimented the curries. The atmosphere was pleasant. The restaurant was quite busy and looking around the guests all seemed to be complimenting their food. One thing I have to add, when you tell them how you want your food to be spiced, they actually listen. We asked ours to be hot and they were spiced hot. The waiter asked if I wanted extra green chillies and before I knew it, they were served along side. Something I wish other restaurants would actually do! Freshly finely chopped ginger (Adrak) gave Shalimar extra points in my book! Will we be returning? YES! - Remember, they don't take credit cards - cash only."
