"We ate at this restaurant in June during the celebratory lunch for my god child,s first communion. The service and the food were excellent and nothwithstanding the restaurant had at least another 180 guests the service was not slow but well paced. Obviously the menu was chose by the family but from all those surrounding us I could see that the quality and the bounty of our plates was reflected in all the other diners menus. We started with prosecco and some pizza balls, then onto a very traditional and varied starter made up of cold cuts, cheese and hot vegetable dishes we also had lasagne made by a lady who was over 70 years of age so tradition and the portions where nothing short of huge!! I cannot eat gluten so the head waiter made sure I had another portion of parma ham and some grilled vegetables instead. We had mixed grill after this with mixed vegetables and salad and then to our surprise a serving of grilled and fried fish with potatoes and again mixed grilled vegetables. Fresh apple sorbet, desert and the cake and then sparkling wine and coffee with a digestive for who could fit it in. This was a lovely celebration but the food is excellent even out of special bookings they have a great traditional menu and also their pizza is made the old fashioned way with a dough that rises for 48 hours before preparation. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good food at a good price and a nice service style set in a traditional setting with no frills. Siamo stati in questo ristorante ieri sera abbiamo preso antipasti e pizza devo dire tutto molto buono cn prezzi più che buoni c'è una vasta scelta di pizze e altro il personale veramente gentile e sempre pronto a tutto grz per la bellissima serata

After asking locals in Taranto where to spend weekend, they all stated Martina Franka. So, here we are, in a lovely Sunday evening crawling around hungry (just remember that after 3 everything is closed as the Italian like afternoon naps). So if you enter the historical center and you are bored of typical traditional food, just come here. The guys here have done an amazing job. You get that feeling from the alley, but also when you get inside the store. Here western tastes are married with herbs and the influence of Italian cuisine. Personally I loved it. Drink beer and wine.. Finish you meal with the NY cheesecake. Thank you can thank me for recommending the place. View menu
