"Hotel guests are a captive audience, and the cook can treat them as slaves. Normally we would avoid a hotel restaurant, and certainly at a tourist castle! For whatever reason, we dined here on two evenings and enjoyed every minute. The cocktail Linari was too sweet for my taste, but the wife enjoyed it (4.20 Euros). I also found the by-the-glass Geldermann sparkling wine rather on the sweet side (4.90 Euros). Our waitress, totally in charge, brought as an amuse-bouche half of a small cooked potato with curds and a slice of radish: a perfect start for the Spreewald area. The ceasar salad with scampis was good (12 Euros) as was the white asparagus soup (6 Euros). White asparagus was the theme of the day, with sauce hollandaise and cooked potatoes with brown butter. The filets of pikeperch and catfish were good (22 Euros), and the generous pork chop from a local, domestic pig was fabulous! (22 Euros). On the second evening we had salmon filet (14 Euros) and roasted wild boar with green asparagus and home-made gnocchi (17 Euros), both excellent choices. As for wine by the glass, the blanc de noir was very good as was the German St. Laurent (1/4 liter for 11.30 Euros). The Rioja Reserva was ripe and smooth and matched the roast boar very well (0.75 Liters for 48 Euros). Sparkling water (Liebenwerda) cost 5.50 Euros for a 0.75 liter bottle. Not to forget the tonka bean creme brulee, a small but very satisfying sin after all that food! (7 Euros). The interior is spacious, the wait staff competent. After the meal, Rocco's Bar next door offers a relaxed landscape of sofas and armchairs to enjoy a glass of Tempranillo (8 Euros) or a 16 year old Lagavulin (6.30 Euros). It doesn't get much better than this, and we were not here for the last time, that's for sure."

Üppig dekoriertes Speisezimmer, aufmerksamer Service, leckeres Essen.

"We were there last night and our expectations were really exceeded. A beautiful ambience with great wild-western decorations where you can also look. The waiting period until the food came by as in the flight was also appropriate considering that almost all tables were occupied. The drinks were taken to the table by train. Beverage orders could also be made via the railway, which with always other wagons and different sounds through the table in a volume that allowed quiet discussions at the table. Surely a great experience for children. The food itself was also really excellent. We ordered an XL Bark Steak with kidney beans and wedges as well as a cattle steak with potatoes and mushrooms. The meat quality was really excellent in both dishes, the cooking point was hit exactly as desired. The meat was well seasoned. The champignons were fresh, not from the can. The kidney beans were interesting, apparently prepared with roasted bacon in a delicious, juicy sauce. The wedges were slightly crispy on the outside and inside wonderfully carrot, because not too strongly spiced, which fits well with the other, quite strong other components on the plate. The service was friendly, all ordered foods and drinks came as ordered and at a reasonable time to the table. All in all, a great restaurant with a well-designed concept and a reasonable price-performance ratio, the family with children, couples, but also people who meet in the evening, drink a beer and eat a small snack. We are guaranteed to come back to test ourselves through the equally interesting Burger Card. Greetings to the team and: continue!"

"the hunger drove us into the orangery in the castle park lübbenau. Amazingly there is no contribution to the castle in lübbenau, although there is only much to write to the history of the house. since 1621 in the possession of the graphs to lynar, interrupted by about 40 years ddr. but this is not my thema. the orangery, wonderfully located on the beach of spree, was in the early evening, only moderately occupied. out there you could not sit for the weather and the mosquitoes. the very large space in the interior was largely decorated for football world championships, football games. the high space allowed 5m, and more, large Germany flag. Now who likes it, there was no return for us, we had been looking for too long for a hospitable place. our way out of hoyerswerda, in the Saxon direction to house, presented us on Sunday only closed companies, i.e. in almost all, somehow possible places of catering. the map of orangery promised what we had dreamed, defensiw, strong, grounded precious. the orangery is quite obviously the bourgeois cheaper variants of the house to relieve the closed restaurant of too much simple people. not to say anything about it. the young person acts on the football field, incl. large canvas with the transfer of a World Cup game, quite good to carefree. the longer waiting time to eat, best guessed. all 5 dishes were not good to hand, the 3()! kitchens did nothing else than this evening really good. it was about to build the breakfast, the salted and dry, to black back steak with sprinkled, also dry and hard, the brat potatoes to him, salted and soft. the zanderfilt was also salted. Too bad, but this starving. in the hope that there is one more, maybe more, more of a football, there are 3 points for the loving ball atmosphere."

"During our tour through the Spreewald there was a feeling of hunger. The first restaurant in Lübbenau, a Greek had closed because the holiday was announced. There should be a pizzeria nearby, so we went on the way. The first impression, a restaurant located directly at the station, well, just try out, were my thoughts. A large terrace on the main road, well maintained, there were only a few guests, but it was also shortly before 4 pm. A very nice waiter picked up the beverage order, brought it very quickly and we ordered our dishes. There were band noodles with mushrooms and fillet tips and for me a salad with tuna and sheep cheese was ordered. NIcht long and it was served. My salad, crispy, cool iceberg salad, with lots of tuna, cucumbers, tomatoes sheep cheese and delicious with vinegar and oil. The band noodles were also consumed with pleasure. With drinks we paid 45€ for 3 people Every meal at the price of 9.90€ In the meantime, the terrace filled and was almost full. I was very satisfied, the waiter, maybe the owner had told me about his concerns about the corona numbers. We felt very comfortable in this restaurant. The toilets are unfortunately not barrier-free when the path is chosen by the restaurant, but I have seen a rear entrance, it would also be the possibility for disabled people to visit the village. The establishment of the restaurant well maintained, the toilets clean. The first impression was somewhat distorted, through the location directly at the station. The surprise was completely successful. At any time, I'd eat here at a visit."
