I felt as though I was being invited into someone's home with a warm welcome at this restaurant. The staff explained the menu and provided recommendations. The food was delicious, flavorful, and unique. It was a wonderful experience overall.

an absolutely amazing meal! had the tasting menu and each dish was pure delicious and made them think about the flavors they tasted. the stars for me were the otopus and sweet brot aromen and textures in each of these plates were different than anything I had before! I never had West African food, so I really didn't know what to expect with ikoyi. the dinner tasting menu was definitely unique and delicious. many surprising combinations and eating seem to have a bit of a heat of seasoning that I guess. my favorite is definitiw the Jollof rice with bark, and the fish with the brioche. the service was also excellent. I think the price is a little high considering that some of the dishes are just kohl and plantain they both taste excellent though) this will definitely recommend my adventurous foodie friends

I chose the tasting menu with non-alcoholic pairings at this restaurant. The service was a bit mixed, with the pairing being good but clumsy and not well-timed with the dishes. I had to ask three times for the pairings. The restaurant wasn't full at the time. The signature dish was full of flavors (Arepa, Eggplant sambal, Bergamot Labneh), but then I received the BBQ Corn Fed Chicken, Turnip cake, Cubeb pepper caramel served raw and pink. I made timid excuses, but they didn't take my plate away. I was expecting them to replace it, but they took their time and timidly asked if I wanted a piece of fish instead. The restaurant was empty when we arrived for our reservation. We were not attended to as promptly as we should have been. Another table was seated not too long after us and were served right away. When a restaurant is as empty as this with plentiful staff, service should have been much better. Our plates were not cleared or changed after each course. We had to ask for this. With food this pungent and flavorful, plate changes should be a given. We also had to repeatedly ask for water. There was a very cursory explanation of each dish, and the recitations were rushed and rote. The dishes were so unusual, it would have been nice if the servers acted as if they cared.
