"We arrived late and without a booking (so much of Paris stays up til much later - I love this city) but the waiters were not rushed or irritated. They got on with it and did a brilliant job of making us feel welcome. One might expect a dedicated fish restaurant that calls itself the "Sea Bar" would put on some spectacular food to bag this title - and you'd be right. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. What does this actually mean? If it had been cooked less it would have not been cooked. If it had been cooked more it would have been overcooked. So this was neither and therefore cooked to perfection. I have to explain things in simple terms like this because I failed to convince my fellow citizens that we must #stopthehatred and get on with one another. I voted to remain but my lot didn't get in this time. It just got a bit more expensive eating here if you earn your money in pounds. I'd still make the effort to go here though. Great place to eat."

The atmosphere is not the best , and if you spend a lot money for a seafood platter ,you will find a lot of better place in Paris .

This is an excellent seafood restaurant. We went there for an oyster lunch! Six very good oysters and a glass of wine for just 10€! You can sit inside or out on the sidewalk. There are also other small dishes available or a full meal if you want. Then before or after, visit the vegetable market down the street. Market not open Mondays though. They also have seafood platters for takeaway.

I liked the sea food in this place, but the service was terrible. The place between the tables was so narrow that I could hardly go to the toilet. We have ordered a table for 20.00 and we were there at 19.50, but our table was given to somebody else. We had to wait for about an hour. Terrible waitress. She completely forgot about us after we ordered the food. After an hour we had to remind about our order

It's as though you're sitting in the middle of the production area of a seafood shop ~ which it really is with it's tiled floors and simple tables. Your there for the Food.. the seafood to be more accurate and it's super fresh, interesting in the sort of seafood on offer & delivered by professionals with a smile. They also have a wine list that is short and good. What else could you want? Oh yes, like a number of these newish restaurants in the 12eme, they are very reasonably priced so it's easy to go again. When we arrived I was really excited. The place looked great - a casual seafood experience which is hard to find in Paris. The meal was extremely disappointing. My sole was small, undercooked and had too much butter sauce. The tuna was over cooked and over salted. The mussels were tiny and not very tasty. The service was almost unfriendly. We sat next to the lobster tank which created a fun experience for the kids - but It emanated heat and a bad smell. On the upside the ambiance was good and the Chablis crisp and refreshing. I would not return.

After a long day at SIAL I was wondering through Paris, making my way to the hotel and looking for something nice to eat. It seems this days all you can find are burger joints, kebabs and fake bistrot that serve the ubiquitous carpaccio...Finally after a lucky turn into a side street I found this little seafood shop/restaurant! Overcrowded, over-furnished and overall impossible to miss. I'm glad I chose to give it a try: really good and fresh seafood, great bread, great butter. I had one platter and then another, effectively trying most of the products in the range and everything was delicious. The menus are in French only, the staff expect you to speak French, the food is good, what else can...
