"I stayed at the Seacote Hotel for 3 nights. It has a nice homely feel to it and is only a short walk from the beach which is great. I didn't use the restaurant during my stay here so I can't comment on that, but the bar is very nice. The room was the very clean and spacious and the shower was amazing (perfect and relaxing after a day swimming in the sea or on the beach) the staff are lovely too and clearly care about the guests that stay at the Seacote Hotel. The only complaint I have was that the room I was in was right above the bar toilets and I could hear the hand dryer from my room, even with the windows shut and it was on and off until midnight most nights. Other than the noise below I enjoyed my stay here and if I ever come to St Bees again I will probably stay here."

Live singer on a Sunday eve the public bar was so friendly and full of dogs which the kids loved. People dancing and trying to get the kids up was a right good local eve.

My partner and I absolutely love this restaurant with its stunning sea view rooms. It is such a beautiful place to stay. My only concern is that there are no healthy options on the menu. We will be coming back in August with our family.

This lovely, peaceful hotel is located at the beginning of the coast, with stunning views of the beach and the point of departure visible from the bedroom window. The portions at dinner are generous and could easily feed two people with leftovers to spare. I look forward to returning to stay at this hotel during my next visit to the area.

The restaurant offers excellent value for money with delicious food, particularly the Sunday roast which was the best I've had in a long time. The staff are all friendly and attentive, but the only downside is that the place seems a bit worn out and in need of a renovation. I'm sure it will get one eventually. This was my first visit, but definitely not my last. View menu

A fantastic hotel in St. Bees, with a great atmosphere and beautiful rooms. The dining experience was lovely, especially the carvery. A special mention to the staff who were all very friendly and made the atmosphere even more comfortable. I believe the receptionist's name was Wendy, she was incredibly helpful. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to everyone. It's great value for money, especially the Sunday carvery which was one of the best I've ever had! Johnny.

We were not expecting much for the price as we stayed at Seacote hotel purely as a stop off to break up a long journey. However, we were very pleasantly surprised! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but very clean and had everything we needed. I travel every week for work so I am used to budget hotels, I was expecting Seacote to be akin to these budget places purely because the price was so low, but I was wrong! Very happy with our stay, really enjoyed the beautiful sea view too!
