"I went to eat a couscous at the opening of the SEBAOU and I was pleasantly surprised (see the pre-2015 reviews). I went back and was very disappointed. The couscous is always prepared with fresh products, especially carrots, turnips and celery in branches, but I did not find cabbage, zucchini or peppers. Chickpeas are always served separately. The lamb mouse is perfect. So much for the positive. Unfortunately, couscous has lost all its flavors and fragrances. To be honest, it's bland. Bringing out the flavors of a couscous is an art. Of course the harissa is offered at the table, but that's not what makes a good couscous. It is not a question of mixing different spices without decorum, but a minimum is necessary. The sauce is clear like a classic vegetable broth, even transparent when you try to wet a little semolina with. It is obviously lacking in paprika and cinnamon. This drop in taste quality, already noted by other customers, must be the result of an adaptation of the dish to the taste of the customers of Merville and its surroundings. It's a shame for the true connoisseurs of couscous. For these, I advise them this restaurant."

Déjeuner improvisé un dimanche midi. Accueil très sympathique du patron. Excellent couscous sur lequel il n'y a rien à redire. Absolument délicieux. Ma moitié n'étant pas fan de couscous s'est repliée sur les boulettes avec frites et salade. Frites maison faites à la demande d'où un peu d'attente mais apparemment ça en valait le coup. Thé à la menthe de tradition avec ou sans sucre si on le souhaite. Parfait.

Ne cherchez plus; le Sébaou est le nom d'une rivière berbère qui coule dans le village où vivait le propriétaire du restaurant.... Ceci étant dit, nous rêvions d'un couscous et nous l'avons trouvé... Bon oui incontestablement. Excellente idée de mettre les pois chiches à part... la semoule parfaitement cuite la merguez épicée à souhait, la brochette et l'agneau ne justifiant pas le prix de "presque " 20 € pour ce couscous "SEBAOU"... Mais que ne ferait on pas pour combler une envie aussi prenante. Ah oui ne prenez pas de "pâtisseries orientales" elles sont surgelées, passées au micro-ondes...et servies chaudes (pas terrible avec le miel cuit). Du couscous oui des pâtisseries non... j'oubliai...
