"I will not say this is the same as going to KL, but when you want to reminisce about the great food you find in the Malaysian capital, this restaurant will help you. Service is fast and friendly, and if you have special needs, the waitress/owner is patient. No dogs are allowed in this restaurant. I had the festive plate (ca. 15EUR) which was gigantic. Their Sate is quite authentic. I also tried Nasi Lemak. The home made Sambal was delicious. The chicken curry they serve with the pancake is pretty close to the authentic curry in the backstreets of KL. My friend also told me that the Teh Tarik is authentic. Price is reasonable, the portions are big, and the ambience is relaxed and quiet. I highly recommend this option to anyone with a soft spot for Malaysian food."

I ordered Nasi Lemak and Teh Tarik both were very delicious. The taste reminded me of my trip to Malaysia. If you want to enjoy the authentic taste of Malaysia then this restaurant is highly recommended.

Very authentic and tasty Malaysian food. The nasi lemak special comes with a variety of Malaysian dishes. Worth the wait for all that we ordered that were reasonably priced and perfectly served by a very friendly owner. View menu

Service war Ok für Bistro! Preis Leistung : OK ! aber die Qualität des Essens ist Schlecht.Hauptspeisen schlecht.

If you're looking for a halal food other than middle-eastern food, you will not be disappointed. This restaurant offers mixed Malaysian/Indonesian foods and they do deliver. The foods taste as good as what I had in Malaysia and it is worth the price. The restaurant is a bit far from the centre but you can get there by metro. I came to eat here twice in my 3 days visit just because I love it!

View menu

As a born and bred Singaporean living in Berlin, this was certainly the best and closest I felt I could get to comfort, home-cooked food. I've been here numerous times over the course of 5 months. Had their Nasi Lemak, Nasi goreng, roti jala and other Malaysian dishes which were all authentic enough. Their home made sambal Chilli deserves special mention. Portions are huge and worth every penny spent. Prices are cheap. Totally value for money. Not to forget the impeccable, friendly and approachable service from the staff. Thumbs up!

I took away a portion of shrimp Char Keoy Teow and curry puffs last week and to my horror it was inedible. Both taste and texture of the keoy teow noodles were way way off. The noodles were not even blanched or fried to soften them. They were chewy. The taste was also bland. The curry puffs were just slightly better. They tasted ok but with a heavy curry powder flavour. Both items came close to €20! I was deeply disappointed to experience that the ONLY Malaysian restaurant in Berlin served such terrible Malaysian food. It 's as if they put no effort into the food.
