Shaan Tandoori Takeaway

Food very nice, usually have the chicken tikka kebab, only compaint is the wait, though not too bad, usually about 10 minutes later than told.

Amazing food tonight from the Shaan Ammanford. We had a Tandoori chicken Biryani, a Chicken Pasanda for the kids and a Kahari Ghost with Samosas to start. The Kahari Ghost was outstanding but everything was on point.

Our family favourite! We have used the Shaaan Tandoori weekly for many, many years and it’s consistently good quality: Delicious food and good portions. Zaeed knows us when we phone in our order and always looks after us well.

Told it would take an hour arrived on time once I paid then the order went into kitchen. 50 mins later after revived food when got it home it was cold. At least 6 of us waiting outside all stating the same. Won't be using them again and a shame as they used to be good

Ridiculous LONG wait for food !!!!!!!! Avoid as it will ruin your evening !! Ordered food at 7pm for 8.30, still waiting outside along with many other people at 9.30!! When asked how long each time told 10 minutes!! And not even a discretionary discount offer for HUGE INCONVENIENCE!! Shouldn’t be so greedy with taking more and more orders without the capabilities of getting the orders which they have already taken done ! I will never go there again!!

Superb food. We've been coming here for years now and the meals are wonderful. Quality and flavours are excellent, very generous portions. By far the best around and the best I've had in the many places I've lived. I usually get the specials and the flavoured rices over the standard ones, some favourites are chicken tikka dopiaza, kochi chicken, special fried rice, coconut rice. And sides and starters like chicken chat, samosa and mushroom bhaji. Thank you Shaan Tandoori, we'll keep coming back!

Very hit and miss this time...chips were very dry and seemed like they had been warmed up/re cooked a few times...thats one of the problems of having an early meal I guess...yesterdays leftovers. The onion bahji and naan bread were also quite dry too The chat starter, which used to be excellent here and the best we have ever tasted wasnt far short of a madras in terms of spicyness... However, the other two meals were very good and enjoyed by our guests. I hope this was a 'one off ' as the Shaan used to be the best takeaway in the area. I believe it is under new ownership.

We use this takeaway at least 2 times a month. The food is out of the world. We sometimes vary what we have however usually have the tandoori mixed grill (meat is amazing), chicken passanda, mugali biryani special and mushroom rice. Sometimes our daughters will have too. We usually get bored or fed up with using one takeaway however have been going there now for years. Very friendly staff too and reasonably priced. We usually get a free naan bread and onion bhaji too. To be balanced my only moans are they don't deliver and don't take card payments however that won't stop us using it and just delays the alcohol being drunk.

Such a shame The Shann was our Indian takeaway of choice, many previous visits have been really good. Today was not one of those times, three mains , the chicken bhuna and jalfresi were okay but the korma was craggy mire coconut than spice. The tarka dahl was really terrible it was like green soup, no real taste. Let's face it how much do lentils cost not a lot. The raita was inedible, the yoghurt was off and had split no, no spice flavouring and batons of cucumber. For the 2 cheapest to make dishes to be so awful does not make me feel comfortable that much effort was being made. Lovely front of house staff such a shame the chefs were left wanting.
