Shane's - Menu

Un concept de menu et service très original. Nous avons mangé le menu à 5 plats avec les vins en accord. Une découverte de plats et de saveurs magnifique, un service aimable et efficace ... top.

We had a table of 7 adults for the menu with matching wines. Quality of the food was superb, service was attentive and friendly. The sommelier is very efficient, very well informed, very friendly. This place is really worth the trip.

Es gibt ein Überraschungsmoment-Menue mit wahlweise 4-8 Gängen. Auf Wunsch mit Weinbegleitung. Wir haben 5 Gänge gewählt. Ausgefallene, ausgezeichnete Kombinationen euroasiatischer Geschmacksrichtungen mit frischen Zutaten. Sehr junges aufgeschlossenes Team.Wir kommen sicher bald wieder. View menu

Danke für das wundervolle 6 Gang Überraschungsmenü mit der Weinbegleitung am Samstag (23.7.17)Abend. So eine super raffinierte leckere Geschmacksexplosion verursacht durch das euroasiatische Essen gibt es selten bis nie.Neben dem Essen war das junge Service Team zuvorkommend aufmerksam und durchaus über das Maß freundlich was mir und dem Rest meiner Familie sehr gut gefiel und wir freuen uns alle schon auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen

Für 2 Personen per tel reserviert. Ja man kann auch schon hier freundlich sein und den Gesprächspartner immer beim Namen nennen.Einfach toll!Zum Ambiente, Menü, Weinauswahl und Kompetenz der Mitarbeiter kann ich mich den vorhergehenden Kommentaren nur anschließen. Eventuell könnte der eine oder andere Mitarbeiter seine "Steifigkeit" noch ablegen .....Es war wieder mal ein traumhafter Abend der alle Wünsche und Vorstellungen übertroffen hat. Lovely food, service and wine. All the dishes had a great combination off different flavors and was excellent cooed. Our favorite was the first starter, a fish dish with pumpkin and vegetables, which was served with a beautiful Riesling from 98. The second dish was a nice smoked lentil dish with a scallop, interesting combination. The weakest dish on the menu was the chicken dumpling, however note that this dish was not bad just not worth the price and weak in comparison with the other dishes. The service was excellent and we are sorry that as this was our first eating out experience in Germany did not realize that you had to ask the waiter to add the tip to the bill BEFORE they get your car... I 'm staying at the Princess Elizabeth hotel which is connected to Shane 's Restaurant and I have to say that although I 'm here to eat German/Bavarian food, I really have enjoyed every meal at Shane 's. Now I should also point out that since I 'm traveling on my own I 'm eating at the B Bar (which offers visitors a limited menu that comes from Shane 's). So no 3/4 course meal. But the Venison Ravioli is really quite good, along with the potato bread. I also had a rib-eye steak one night and the wine-reduction was really amazing. Finally, the chocolate crème brûlée with mandarin compote and vanilla bean ice cream is amazing. The brûlée is topped with something similar to the candy 'pop rocks...

Wir waren Samstagabend zu viert im Shanes Restaurant. Die Idee mit dem Überraschungsmenü und der dazu passenden Weinbegleitung ist gut und mal was anderes. Grundsätzlich war das Essen von guter Qualität, es hätte etwas intensiver schmecken können. Mir persönlich hat jedoch jeder Gang gut geschmeckt. Bei den Getränken war der Eindruck etwas gemischt. Unsere Champagnerflasche zum Aperitif war nicht kalt - das darf bei diesem Produkt und dem aufgerufenen Preis nicht passieren. Die Weinbegleitung war in Summe stark verbesserungsbedürftig. Die ersten 2 Weine waren in Ordnung und interessant zum Menü ausgewählt, die folgenden 2 Weine haben nicht zum Menü gepasst und sind völlig im Geschmack des Es...

This place is a lot different compared to my first time here in 2011! The main reason why I've yet to return was because of the atrocious service my initial visit. I thought the food overshadowed the service so I didn't mind too much, but my parents refused. However, after 4 years I wanted to go back and see if the food (and service has gotten better. Now, the presence of Asian fusion is noticeable in each dish. Unlike the first visit where it was just modern. So that was an interesting change! Each course was tasty.
