"I have been a customer of this takeaway for many years, often ordering for groups of two to eight people. We always call ahead to place our order and schedule a pickup time. The wait time upon arrival is usually minimal, and there is a 10% discount for pickups. In all the time we have ordered from them, we have never had a disappointing meal. We have tried a variety of dishes, including the King Prawn Jalfezi, Chicken Nezamee, and Shatkora Chicken, and each one has been deliciously prepared, generous in portion size, and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant."

This is the third time we have ordered takeout from Shimul, and the food is absolutely delicious. The Madras curry is the best I have ever had, and I highly recommend this restaurant. It has become our favorite spot to order from! View menu

Terrible services a 40 minute delivery time took almost 2 hours, called the take away to be lied to they said the driver was 5 minutes away, called back 30 minutes later he hadnt even left. When it finally arrived items were missing from my order, they said they would give free next time!! There will not be a next time.

We decided to try out this takeaway for the first time and it will definitely be our last! We ordered a chicken madras, a chicken korma with pilau rice, and a naan bread. The bill came to £16. When we got home and opened the food containers, we were shocked at the small portion sizes of the curries. There was hardly any chicken in them and they were definitely not worth the money. The combined portions would barely feed one person. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with our experience and would not recommend this Indian takeaway.
