"My husband and I went to this restaurant on Valentine 's Day 14 Feb 2017. And this was the worst service ever, we had reservations for 2030 and once we got seated we noticed on our table we didn 't have any bread like everyone else did. Our server didn 't offer us a menu to see what we were paying for he just asked us if we wanted hot fish or cold fish but didn 't allow us to see what else they offered to eat. Once we got the antipasti we weren 't served again until 2100 after I asked the waiter if we had ordered anything else, he told me to hold on and he went to check and came back and said it was almost done. What was almost done we don 't know what else we ordered because we didn 't see a menu to see what else we wanted. So after he left to go get our second plate it was fish and shrimp but I also didn 't know they had muscles and pasta etc. After we got our second plate at 2120and finished I asked for our bill, well needless to say they never brought it. So we walked to the cashier and once we got our bill it was €80 for only 2 plates of antipasti, fish and whole bottle of wine I didn 't even drink a glass or 2 would have been great and water. Overall this was the worst service ever and will NOT recommend to anyone."

trattoria al centro in catania, un po' retrò, ma buone materie prime, e buon gusto i piatti sono arrivati al tavolo. Abbiamo mangiato bene. bel proprietario che ci ha accompagnato durante la cena consigliandoci e curandoci.

personale cordiale e puntuale, servizio veloce . materia prima di ottima qualità. gamberetti rossi di grande livello. ampia scelta di ottimi antipasti. beccafico sarda per provare assolutamente. bussare con molto buon ragout di mare. buona carta da vino con il ricamo giusto. se siete in catania una visita è obbligatoria.

The first impression of the restaurant is good: dishes on offer, prices and dining room. The food was OK. The swordfish ravioli tasted too strongly of fish and had unpleasant results on my intestine the next day. The dessert was average. This was the first restaurant we went to when arriving in Catania but we avoided it when we returned to this city.

se si desidera mangiare ottimo pesce cucinato secondo la tradizione siciliana con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo, non si può perdere questo ristorante. salva, il proprietario, restauratore di lunga data vi accoglie con cordialità e competenza. Inoltre, il ristorante situato nella tranquilla piazza del lupo permette in pochi minuti di una rapida fuga dalla folla e rumorosa via il teatro massimo.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel and we were happily surprised! First of all, we wouldn't have found it on our own, even though it was within a block of our hotel. (It is a restaurant for the locals). And the restaurant accommodated our party of 9 with short notice. All of the dishes were very good and we were treated to assorted cookies and dessert wine at the end of the meal! I would eat here again, if I am ever back to Catania.
