"Vegetarian/vegan. Feminist. homemade. affordable. are words that summarize this wonderful place. If you have any questions about where to eat today by donostia, do yourself a favor and go to tavern garraxi. You will find a menu with vegetarian options that can be vegans without problems and for a popular price. choose what you choose, you can't be wrong. personally, the day I went with the gazpacho, the champagne with sauce, the rice noods with vegetables and curry and dessert a smoothie that knows how to nectar the gods. The girl who attended us at the table was very nice and very close. I'm sure there's everyone. I don't know, the feeling of home is noticeable in the environment. and as they say for the other comments, water and bread are free and as much as you want. As a catalan that I am, asking if it was true that water was unlimited and free, the poor woman has been framed and said that she did not understand the question, that how they will accuse us of putting water! accustomed to paying for everything, I came out of doubts for itself. "Civico 14 is not a restaurant that you bump into while walking downtown San Sebastian. You have to look for it, you have to know it from its exclusiveness; and that 's what we did with a couple of friends... 2 nights in a row, during a long weekend in Donostia. We wandered in on a Friday night, and were immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of fresh pasta. The restaurant was filling up quickly (although it was only 8 pm) but we managed to snag a table. The menu is not overwhelming like those typical touristic places, there are a few options but carefully choosen and prepared, ingredients are fresh and seasonal (they just put up the spring menu) and there are always a couple of pleasent surprises not mentioned in the list. Between the 2 dinners we had, we went basically All in and managed to try a bit of everything. As a starter we had an extremally flavourfull white asparagus, that I have never tried before, then the smoked mackerel paired with blueberry vinegar which was succulent and finally the unforgettable beef tartare cleverly mixed with hazelnut, mustard and cocoa nibs. Then we moved on with the Pasta, my favourite was the Fusilli with lamb ragu, simply spectacular, the pasta was fresh, al dente, well seasoned and a good portion; on the second night I had Paccheri with monk fish and bottarga, another succulent and wonderfully executed dish if you like fish paired with pasta, like I do. At this point we were almost full but that Octopus on the menu was too tempting so we made the effort and we were not dissapointed, it is served with a cream of 'peperone crusco ' and a side of sea asparagus, two things I 've discovered for the first time. 'Dulcis in Fundo ' the desserts; I dont have a sweet tooth myself, but something as simple as strawberry and basil ice cream...yes basil, was incredibly smart and refreshing; then of course the chocolate panna cotta (which is not your average panna cotta with chocolate topping) which comes with raspberry crumbles and orange, in a beautifully presented plate. Finally the Tiramisu was the perfect ending of this food parade. As creamy as it comes, and as dreamy as it suggests...and not to be ignored, made fresh daily. This has been one of the most exhuberant culinary experience I have had in some time. All that being said, I highly recommend Civico 14 if you are near San Sebastian...it will definietly add more beauty to the already beautiful city."

"It is a restaurant located in a building with multiple windows and is on the edge of the estuary, with fantastic views. It is elegant, with white tablecloths. The food is rich and the product is of quality. From what I ate, the squid in their ink were bland, they lacked a touch of salt. The service lacks a maitre d' to direct them; They went without order, they were late and they forgot to bring me dessert; Yes, later I claimed it and they didn't charge me"

"Pondría 5 estrellas en ella, pero a la aplicación no le gusta. El comentario de Nadja es falso y se debe a un boicot contra este restaurante. Como vegano he ido a informar en persona y no cocino comida vegana con la de origen animal. Son muy respetuosos del veganismo. Hoy hemos cenado en @ximiko. errenteria a restaurant in Errenteria with vegan options. Es una maravilla ir a un lugar y no tener que explicar que es vegano y no. Porque eso me ha pasado en restaurantes vegetarianos. Tienen mucho conocimiento de lo que es el veganismo y eso da mucha seguridad. Nos hemos llevado a compartir todo un wok de arroz, sacudido y no pollo. Una rodaja de patatas veganas para las cuatro. Luego las chicas han comido una hamburguesa de quinoa vegana, con queso vegano y tocino vegano. Los nuestros eran los @helloplant_foods, super ricos y tiernos. Todo esto acompañado por el mejor kombucha que existe, el de @drink_mucha. Y post pastel de arroz vegano con leche y helado también vegano. El tratamiento de todo el personal inmejorable. Recomiendo ir a este sitio sin duda. También han tomado agua para beber para nuestro perro Izar. Gracias Juanjo y Koldo, regresaremos."
