"In case you’re a little behind with the news, the famous St John Hotel off Leicester Square is out and in its places is a new French-Vietnamese restaurant (their words not mine), Leicester House. The site seems to have been doomed from the day it first came to life and changed through more hands than it should have in the past few years. Location can’t be blamed either, because after all – it’s slap bang in the middle of central London. There is a light at the end of this dark and gloomy tunnel however, with the arrival of the new Leicester House restaurant. This transformed Georgian townhouse is looking stunning right now décor wise, I can’t get enough of its sumptuous décor, plush leather chairs and shades of crisp Farrow Ball colours splashed across the walls. The food is just as good too – but its origins need a little homing in to help this place go further on the culinary scene."

the le Bun team transformed leicester house for some weeks to the 22nd mai into a temporary diner. le bun offers a selection of American burgers based on some French classic recipes and ingredients. everything on the menu sounded super and tasty: deaf foie gras truffle mayo bourguignon glaze... I keep the list up as I just drive drool!

great experience here. very cozy and clean environment with attentive bar staff. it was my first time with some friends came here, so I wasn't too sure how everything worked. one of these employees (agda) made us very comfortable and welcome, she kindly explained the system and made some great drinks recommendations! overall very satisfied with the service. Come back!

the service started bad (the 25 minutes wait until 2 cocktails could be delivered), but later in the evening became much better, in which we were allowed to stay in our 'maintained' upper floor meeting for over 2 hours after our reservation, and were really well looked after in this time. special scream for rosie, katie and zara, who really felt welcome and made us delicious cocktails.

before a show we booked a floorless brunch. we were surprised that we had to pay £3 extra for a larger eating option that, when it arrived, did not feel that significant. the workers were all very young and seemed inexperienced. even though they were very polite and could not be blamed. it is a cheap option near the theatre quarter for such something as most places were £60 and this was about £35, although I do not think I would visit again. the property that was formerly the st john hotel and one leicester has reopened as a leicester house. located handy behind the main strip of chinatown, east meets west is the concept for the restaurant with 50 covers (also a 17-room boutique hotel.) foods are described here as colonial vietnamese a fusion of French and Vietnamese. they will not find ph, bnh cun yet bn ch here. but you can order a bnh m, a Vietnamese style baguette sandwich (it is not on the photo of the menu I took, the menu online has bnh m

for the case that they are a little behind the recreation, is the famous st john hotel off leicester square and at its places is a new French-Vietnamese restaurant (their words are not mine) leicester house. the website seems to have been changed from the day it first came to life and by more hands than it should have in recent years. the situation cannot be accused, because finally – it is slap bang in the middle of london. at the end of this dark and gloomy tunnel, however, there is a light with the arrival of the new leicester house restaurant. this transformed Georgian city house looks stunning now decorated wisely, I can't have enough of its lush...read more
