"We had a wonderful meal in a lovely setting. It's clear that this place is very popular with locals, as it quickly filled up with diners, which unfortunately led to slower service—they could really use a few more staff members! There were a couple of minor issues: when we ordered crab cakes as a starter, we were informed they were unavailable, so we asked for them to be removed from the order. However, when we went to pay, we noticed they were still on the bill. Instead of waiting for staff to address this in the busy atmosphere, we decided to let it slide. My partner was supposed to have carrots with his mackerel and new potatoes, but they never arrived, and one of the potatoes was overcooked and darker than the rest. However, once we mentioned these issues, we enjoyed the rest of our meal and evening. We would definitely come back, but hopefully when it's less busy, so we could address any concerns more effectively. "

We highly recommend the igloo experience! It provided a beautiful setting for the festive season, and the added bonus was that the food was delightful. Our starter was served in the igloo, and for our mains, we opted for the carvery, which was just a short walk from the main building. I can't recommend it enough!

The food was enjoyable, and the staff were extremely friendly. I do have a couple of minor complaints: when I ordered coffee, it arrived without a saucer or spoon. Additionally, one of the ladies' restrooms could use a new toilet seat, as it was quite difficult to sit on without feeling unsteady. Overall, I rated the food, service, and atmosphere as 4 out of 5. the staff works so incredibly hard to ensure that eating is well prepared and served in time. the portions are great and the quality is great. I only have £8 a meatless Sunday roast, but could not manage everything. charlie bought my vegan engraving incredibly fast our visit to a real tasty bite. we will definitely return and recommend the sondes arms in rockingham.

The Sonden Arms was clean, welcoming, and offered delicious food. I visited for a team dinner on Wednesday night, and while it wasn't too crowded, there was just enough activity to create a lively atmosphere. I still have to give it four stars, though, because the service was inconsistent. While our food arrived promptly, it took far too long to get drink refills or the bill when we needed it—so long that it became frustrating, especially when we were ready to leave. However, I will return because the staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional, and I'll chalk this up to a minor hiccup on their part.

"Today we visited the Olive restaurant in Corby and I must say, it may just be my new favorite restaurant. I made a booking through their website and was provided with a recommended departure time. Upon arrival, I gave my name and was given several seating options. I chose a table by the window. We started with a bottle of Ombrellino Pinot Grigio Rose from Italy, which was a refreshing wine with notes of cherry and forest fruit. It paired well with our meals. For my starter, I had the Moules Mariniere, a classic French dish of mussels in a white wine, garlic, and parsley sauce served with ciabatta. It was delicious, though I wish they had provided a bowl for the discarded shells. My partner had the Tapas Trio, which included honey chorizo, patatas bravas, and a spinach feta parcel with tzatziki. He enjoyed it, especially the fresh and well-seasoned tzatziki. For my main course, I chose the Surf and Surf, a dish of cod fillet topped with Moroccan spiced prawns, served with new potatoes and Mediterranean vegetables. It had a bit more spice than expected, but I still found it delicious. My partner had the Chicken Parmesan Pasta, which he thought was a great combination of flavors with well-seasoned chicken and balanced pasta. We were so impressed with the food and atmosphere that we decided to have dessert. We opted for the Orange and Amaretti Trifle, a layered dessert with biscotti, orange jelly, custard, and Chantilly cream. It was delicious and light, though we wished it was a bit bigger. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner experience at Olive and felt transported to Greece for a while. Service: Dine-in Meal Type: Dinner Price per person: £40-50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
