"The restaurant is directly opposite the Check Point Charlie museum. Having never travelled to Berlin before and not quite having our bearings, this was the first restaurant we came across that wasn't a McDonalds or a subway. The staff were very nice and gave us a table and menus straight away. The menu was hand written and had broken English translations for all the food available. (It was easy enough to figure out which item was what food.) We both ordered the roast chicken with potatoes. My husband had a beer and I had a bottle of water (which was more expensive than the beer!) The food took about 20 minutes to arrive as it was cooked fresh. The food was lovely although a bit oily, but I'm not sure if it's because I was so hungry that the food tasted good! The veg was awful, totally overcooked and too much lemon on it. If i visit Berlin again I would probably look elsewhere for something to eat, on this occasion it was convenient to eat there. The meals and drinks came to approx 36 euros."
