"Bestes Filetsteak ever. Tolles uriges gemütliches Ambiente mit super Essen und klasse Service. Die grösse des Steaks kann man selber bestimmen. Auch die Beilagen perfekt zubereitet. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Man ist auch mit Hund willkommen. Portionen ordentlich und da man die Größe des Steaks selbst bestimmen kann auch für den großen Hunger geeignet. Die Preise sind angemessen und nich überteuert. Da giebt es nichts zu mäkeln. Würden wir jedem empfehlen und im nächsten Urlaub sind wir auf jeden Fall wieder da."

"We dined here 2 times during our 6 night stay in Garmisch Partenkirchen. We really enjoyed this restaurant, lovely atmosphere, great service, friendly multilingual staff, amazing food and excellent quality. Nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile. On the first night we both ordered pizza and it was really delicious and finished with a tiramisu which was divine. The other 2 nights we tried the pasta dishes - spaghetti with scampi and tortellini with ham and spinach, both were excellent. Found the attitude of the staff much more friendly compared to other typical german restaurants we tried. Also, once we were finished our main meal they did not rush us to free up the table which we experienced in other restaurants in the area. I would make a reservation in advance if you want to sit in the terrace - the busiest time was from 7-8:30pm. On both occasions we made a reservation in advance and we were happy we did as some people who arrived had to wait quite a while for a table outside. My only negative is that I wished we had discovered this restaurant earlier during our trip to Garmisch Partenkirchen. Highly recommend La Baita!!"

"First and foremost, the staff and service were impeccable. I really enjoyed my Bavarian Burger, and the homemade mayo as a dipping side was an excellent touch! This is actually my second time here. The first time was in the peak of Ski season, and...it was so packed I couldn’t get a seat as a solo patron. This time it was with a buddy and after ski season, so it was still busy but my friend and I found a seat at the bar. They have a great selection of whiskeys: Irish, Scotch, and American bourbon. They have a somewhat limited menu with appetizers, pizzas and burgers; however, I wouldn’t expect a full menu at an Irish pub, so this was not really a detriment. My friend ordered the special: the Garlic burger and echoed the sentiment from another reviewer that it was the best burger in Germany that he’s had. I will go further to say it’s one of the burgers I’ve had anywhere: large in size with cheddar (or Gouda), a hunk of ham, bacon, lettuce, onion, and tomato. This is a place I’d definitely recommend for getting a drink with a few friends or a bite to eat. I echo the other views that this isn’t really place for large gathering or bringing kids. Not that it’s family unfriendly (there was a dog there when I went), but it’s pretty space-limited. Overall, this is an excellent place, the service was amazing, staff was friendly, and the owner even came and chatted with us. I will be going back!"

"Meine Frau und ich waren im heutigen Regen spontan ein paar Kilometer spazieren. Wir gingen spontan ins Restaurant und bereuten keine Sekunde. Wir wurden äußerst gastfreundlich zum Tresen gebracht, da wir nur etwas trinken wollten. Wir haben dort sehr bequem gesessen und konnten sogar beobachten wie recht unhöflich Gäste konstruktiv und besonnen behandelt wurden, obwohl diese sich nicht an die Hausregeln hielten und ewig diskutierten. Abgesehen davon, fühlten wir uns so wohl, dass wir sogar viel später als geplant das Restaurant verließen (spontan incl. 3 hausgemachten Abendessen to go) Beide Personen vor Ort (inclusive einem perfektem Abendessen, waren den Schlechwetterspaziergang wert) Danke"

"My partner and I wanted to have a nice dinner and this restaurant was nearby hour hostal. I do not have anything to complaint about: the food was good, the service was good, the bill was what you expect for this type of restaurant. Why three stars? Well, because is just that, good, nothing special that had gotten my attention. Now a days, with all alternatives you have, restaurants need to offer something else, that "detail" ... for example, giving a sample of that amazing sweet mustard (it was delicious) or at least selling it :)"
