Stopped off on our way home, was seated 2 adults 3 children and 2dogs . Great service and the food was excellent. Not seen fish and chips like it superb.

One of the best restaurants I've visited. The food is excellent, with a great selection on the breakfast menu. Everything was just right. The atmosphere is refreshing, and the service was attentive. The place is very clean and has ample parking space. The view is stunning. I highly recommend it!

Lovely pub, friendly staff, visited on a family holiday. Dog friendly pub and lovely food, recommend the fish and chips and local ice cream. Lots of parking and room to sagely walk dogs iff needed. Ate here for lunch with our family. It was pretty empty (only saw 2 other tables occupied when we were there), yet the food took over an hour to come out. Not ideal with 4 young kids trying to keep them entertained (only found the playground as we left). The food was pretty good when it came though. View menu

The journey to the storage place was quite the adventure! The food was fantastic, and there was plenty of beer to enjoy. The staff was excellent, providing great service. The restaurant has a spacious interior and plenty of outdoor seating for dining and drinking. They even let us leave our CV overnight in the local parking lot without charging for drinks or meals. Overall, a wonderful experience!

I recently visited The Poor several times for drinks and a few meals while in close proximity to Blackawton. I must say the service was excellent. The barman, who might also be the manager, along with a young lady, were incredibly friendly and attentive. Both meals we had were among the best dining experiences we've ever had. The addition of the log fire created a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. Plus, there are plenty of parking spaces available. I highly recommend this place! View menu
