"Very friendly, personable and attentive staff. Sadly, food was massively underwhelming especially in relation to the steep price: zero wow factor combined with the fact that main course arrived tepid. I had to conetnt with a virtually cold serving of monkfish accompanied by unpleasantly dry, hard and altogther unpalatable savoy cabbage, the disappointment having been made worse by the fact that savoy happens to be one of my favourite vegetables. Spring is a lovely space but it must do much better quality of food-wise. If an average two-course dinner costs ca £100 per person you cannot afford to be complacent."

The atmosphere is clean and luxurious but light and almost feminineIt is a beautiful room with a bright and open feeling in a convenient location.

This was a really wonderful meal. Imaginative use of fresh ingredients. We had the scratch menu and loved the combination of flavours. Excellent service and a lovely spacious and light venue. Highly recommended.

Somerset House is such a beautiful building even better having the lovely restaurant Spring. A calm oasis to enjoy a fine early dinner. The 3 course Scratch menu is excellent value for tasty seasonal food that is beautifully presented. The service was attentive without being intrusive the staff were knowledgeable happy.

We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant's Scratch menu, and we were impressed by their commitment to using leftover produce. At £25 for 3 courses, it's a great value. The wine selection was nice but a bit pricey, starting at around £14 for a small glass. The decor was beautiful and the staff were very accommodating. We will definitely return to this restaurant.

We went at 5.30 before going to a concert and had the three course scratch menu for £25 per head. This was excellent and the portions just right for an early dinner. Glasses of wine were reasonably priced and the service was very good and friendly. The restaurant is beautifully laid out. All in all it was faultless. Would strongly recommend as somewhere to eat pre theatre.

Have visited many times. Of course, the food is top notch. Good flavours, combinations and appearance. But it is 1 THE QUIET and 2 The TABLES are NOT on top of one another. Both these are RARE in a London restaurant. The put a lot of thought into the acoustics. Why more restaurants don't is beyond me. Surely you go out to talk/listen to your companions? Finally, the service is both efficient and friendly. What not to like?

A family of four went to this restaurant for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. The flavors were lovely and the combinations of ingredients were tasty. We all enjoyed our meals and would definitely order the same dishes again. We tried the cauliflower and gorgonzola soup, which was truly delicious. For mains, we had duck, steak, monkfish, and sea trout, all of which we loved. Despite not having room for desserts, we are planning to go back and make sure to save room by not eating all day.
