"Have actually gone through the hassle of researching this place, not remembering initially the name, but we were so wonderfully impressed that I had to write the first review. If you go to Vienna, please visit the Naschmarkt. It is a unique Old World experience. It is the evolved remnants of a several hundred year old Farmer's Market, with Fish, Cheese shops, cold cuts, and at night, as the shops close, it is a cozy promenade full of restaurants. As luck would have it, this was our first stop, we had not yet had a chance to exchange money, and this place accepted credit cards (many other establishments in the vicinity do not accept plastic,) and, it was the best meal we had in Austria. We had different items, the steaks, the veal were outstanding, and I had an amazing crown of lamb.Service was outstanding, the wines and beer could not have been better. It was fine dining in terms of quality, but, surprisingly reasonable, especially as Austria is not inexpensive."
