"I don't think there's a thing I didn't like in this place. the drinks were great, eating was so delicious. menu was not massive, but it was perfect for the options they had. the zero drop shop, the people who worked there, everything was so great and beautiful! I even went to the toilets and noticed that they do "toilet winning" to help people in poverty. as amazing! much love to detail and only a very beautiful/welcome place. it would be a dream, my own café/shop as this one day highly recommended!"

The Steep & Filter has closed down, replaced by The Brown Bag Cafe at the same address. The new cafe offers only one gluten-free cake and no regular scones. Due to the limited options, we decided to leave. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the cross-contact procedures or service hygiene. View menu

this is a beautiful place with great aiming and ethics, the type of restaurant that they just want to support! it is 100% vegan and I chose a herbal quiche from the changing menu. it was very good, though it had a little more taste, so not five stars. I'm sure I'm going to think about whether I'm ever going to skipton again.

"What a wonderful discovery! While on our canal holiday, we docked at Low Bradley on a sunny Sunday afternoon and ventured into Bradley in search of a pub. We were thrilled to come across the Slaters, with its amazing patio perfect for a sunny day and possibly the best view I've ever seen from a pub patio. Dogs were welcome to sit outside, with plenty of water bowls provided for them. It felt a bit like a dog show, especially when we joined the crowd with our two Newfoundlands! After enjoying a couple of drinks, we took our dogs back to the boat and returned to the Slaters for dinner. We were lucky to snag a table as they were fully booked, a testament to the quality of the food. The menu offered something for everyone, from fresh fish to steaks, great vegetarian options, and Sunday roasts on the specials board. My spinach ricotta lasagne was delicious, and my partner's fish and chips disappeared in no time. The portions were generous, so we had to skip dessert, although we did indulge in a delicious garlic bread starter. I couldn't help but notice a person at the next table enjoying the homemade New York cheesecake, which looked amazing and came in a huge portion. It's funny how some really slim people can eat so much! Overall, the Slaters Arms is a fantastic pub with delicious food. I have to give a special shoutout to the landlord and landlady, who despite being busy, were friendly and welcoming, taking the time to chat with everyone. It was a refreshing change. The Slaters Arms has my vote, and we will definitely return, even though it's not particularly close to home."

"I was visiting the area a few month ago when upon leaving I saw this Keelman Farm Shop and thought I need a look in there and I was so impressed by the Farm Shop I decided to buy some biscuits upon leaving I spotted some hampers by the door and thought they would make a beautiful present for my best friends mother, Well I decided to make a call and spoke a beautiful lady named Sue and asked if they had any in for when I could come back seeing how I live in South Shields,I said I would return on Thursday 16th November about 3.30pm, Sue said that would be no problem and they were made up for me on the day this is expentional service. This far the best Farm Shop I have seen, everything I saw was immaculately displayed, the fresh food was also the same, they have flowers which is delivered on a daily basis, everything is locally sourced, it boats a delicatessen with a wide range of cheeses and home cooks pies and everything in between hat can satisfy even the most awkward pallet. The wines are vast and varied, they also boast a restaurant which serves a wide range of good honest food. I would to take this time to thank Hayle with all my heart in getting permission for me to take pics for my review (love you for this Ms Haley) To the Owners Thank you for a memorable visit and your great staff with a brilliant eye for detail, do you and Keelman FarmShop justice."
