"It seems more than it is. I reserved for at least ten people and we had to wait longer for our food than the people who came later. We have ordered at least for 200-300 € food and were treated like the last dirt probably because we aren't headed with the Porsche, I have to say that I've never been disappointed by a gastronome. There are clearly better restaurants in the Starnberger room but I will never go back. Spaghetti were cold some pizzas were not exactly warm, and the service was under all cannon and there was not even an apology, school grade five minus"

"We tried to go here, twice. It had good reviews, but when we entered, the staff did not even acknowledge us. We stood there, two separate times for 3-5 minutes and no one greeted us in any way...They were busy, but 4 different people/staff were literally walking around us and ignoring us! Unbelievable. Later we asked a local, and she said the same thing (that the food is good, but the staff are incredibly rude)...Life is too short to put up with treatment like that! So, we went 3 blocks away to a wonderfully friendly restaurant with good food - "Film Taverne" with good Bavarian fare and pizza. I would recommend to go there instead!"

"the georg ludwig is for me always a favorite destination when I take a bike tour from home. the Bavarian Picture Book House is located in the small place maising, a bit west of poecking, or starnberg. it is possible to achieve, as mentioned, with the wheel, or per pedes from starnberg. to this you wander through the scenic maisingers, which is especially worth a visit with children. of course, you also come to the tin box, but I find it importable and after some movement tastes speis and drank the better. in summer the wonderful beer garden is probably the main attraction. it is really hot, offer chestnuts shadowing while in the early or autumn you are looking for a little bit in the sunny obst garden or even resorting to the outlying creative. because I don't like a big portion when cycling, I can't say anything about the sponge. he looks great in any case and is praised at the side tables in the highest tones. for that I can say something about the sausage salad: excellent! You rarely get him that well. good sausage, a little radi and radishes and a self-made sauce with a hauch senf, no comparison to the usual packerl tin or infallibly edig water. to drink one gets the maisacher brewery, of which I would especially recommend the natural straw beer or the famose predatory kneißl dark. the service is flott and usually also friendly. As long as nothing changes to the above mentioned preferences, the georg ludwig will continue to remain one of my favorite goals around me. ps:. and if I think about it, there are also five stars and not only four stars."

"If the weather is nice, you can do no better than sitting at the edge of the wee lake in Maising having a beer or meal at the Maisinger Seehof enjoying the sun or watching the sunset. While the menu is not large or as comprehensive as many other biergartens, the food is consistently excellent and even includes several options with fresh green salads (a rare commodity at Bavarian biergartens). I love the Käsespätzle here (egg noodle dumplings with cheese sauce... think homemade mac and cheese, with lumpier denser pasta), which is creamy and cheesy and comes with a large tasty salad. The smoked lake trout is also great on a summer afternoon. They serve Perger juices, schorles and sodas (a very local organic drink manufacturer), and particularly special are the Apfel-, Birnenschorle (apple or pear juice mixed with mineral water) and Johannesbeerschorle (black currant version), which are on the cloudy and sour end of the spectrum. Extremely refreshing with only a hint of sweetness. Perfect. But while the food is excellent, the real reason to go is to sit at the lake and enjoy the quiet nature, far from any busy roads, you can even take a dip in the lake after (or before?) your meal, or enjoy a hike around the lake.They are only open from April until mid-October, and are closed on Mondays"

"our Christmas dinner 2017 we had this year in the oskar maria graf stüberl in the mountain. the greeting was warm so we felt very comfortable quickly. especially to christmas when it is so beautifully decorated, really to home! the services were very friendly and on the crisp, so the drinks were very fast at the table. to the appetizers: everything was excellent, we had grilled weinküken, salat with roasted putenbrust, pumpkin soup, fieldsalat with roasted sampis, leberknödelsuppe and three matjesfilet in crumb sauce. to the most important curses I can only say starving! bauerngans and curls with kartoffel dumplings and blue crumbs, as it is better not to go, bark fillet served in cognac cream sauce with homemade potato roast, how nicely carving with the best bratkartoffels of the world, starnberger seeing, renkenfilt all cooked! thanks to the nice and attentive Omnig team we come back! the environment is very cozy, clean, tasteful and harmonious. the staff is very friendly, attentive and very attentive to the probably the guests. unfortunately this is rarely found today. Eat is fresh, very tasty and prepared with love. the fish comes partly from the starnberger see the meat, the sweet and the salads are from the region. the homemade salatdressing is world class!
