"Dining here is an incredible experience. My steak is cooked to perfection on a hot stone, allowing for a personalized taste. Overall, it's a unique and enjoyable atmosphere that offers a refreshing change from the typical restaurant scene. However, my only concern was the wait time. It's difficult to gauge this since we visited during Valentine's week, and I understand that many establishments are still struggling with COVID-related challenges. We enjoyed a three-course menu and spent about 2.5 hours there. It took a while to have our orders taken and to request the bill at the end. Perhaps implementing an online ordering and payment system could help? Although we could scan a QR code to view the menu, it felt a bit discouraging to wait for staff to come by after deciding what we wanted. That said, once our orders were taken, the food was served promptly. I certainly don’t mean to be disrespectful to the staff; they were very friendly and accommodating. However, it did seem like they could have used a few more team members, as the restaurant was fully booked and they had many tables to manage."

All food was amazing. Everything, the only thing that was only good was the chocolate tart. All rest amazing. Want more. Very excited for their butchery.

This is a fantastic restaurant! I was really impressed by the friendliness and support of the staff. They were eager to explain the menu and accommodate our requests. The food was excellent too! The steak we had was incredible, so I highly recommend this place!

Anna-Maria was an excellent server. It's like they know when to check in on you without being a bother yet just in time for you to make your request. Everything tasted delicious and worth every pound. Great service, good atmosphere and food that will not disappoint.

The menu at The Worms of the World on Monday is quite impressive. I ordered a salt-aged sirloin steak with mussels and a side of Cajun home fries. The waitress suggested I remove the steak from the stone plate first and cook it as I ate, but sadly, mine ended up overcooked. Despite that, I still enjoyed the steak and the home fries, although the mussels were disappointing. To top off the meal, I ordered a dark chocolate tart for dessert that was rich and flavorful, but the texture was a bit too hard for my liking.

what a happiness! So we were on our slumber week and wanted to visit a restaurant that we had visited up to 4 years ago. Unfortunately this was closed so that the taxi driver told us about stix and stones. in our first night here we were not sure that the stones decided something out of the stone. but we saw the amazing food coming and decided to come back to our last day here. we were not disappointed, the restaurant is beautiful, the staff was great and eating was divine! we will definitely return to them when we visit next!

"enjoyed our evening in james st it was the best culinary experience of our trip! we had been happy to see this evening as we had a few hit-N-seals in the course of our trip to belfast. we were not disappointed and had the fabulous evening. we were quickly welcomed and sitting. the place is beautiful and spacious. revitalized and environment. the bar is great and would like to come back, only for drinks at the bar sometime. we ordered cocktails immediately. an Irish gin negroni and a traditional old fashion. my neger was absolutely excellent. I think the old fashion could have been done with real sugar cubes and not sugar syrup, but it wasn't too bad. we were quick to choose our wein. we chose a beautiful juicy red, the cline, the old vine zinfandel, 2019. to begin we had the ham hock terrine with piccalilli champ bread and some scallops with boar bell. the hanging-hock court was the best ham-hock I had. the homemade piccalilli was something else. really nice crispy and sharp sharp to help cut through the hammock and the champbrot was delicious crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. the scallops and black bells were disappointing, as they lacked no salt or genuine aroma or texture between them. we still ate it and shared the rest of my hammock. we both decided to go for the co. tyrone 270g fillet steak with sides of champ and truffle parmesan chips. red wine and pfeffer sauce. they were fantastic steaks. Actually, I didn't think I would finish mine, but I did. I have met the right choice with the jus and the truffle chips. they went so well together, the dryness of the parmesan and sweet, slightly greasy of the jus. the steaks were perfectly cooked. a medium and my medium rare. fantastic aroma on the grilled outside of the steak and beautiful texture when they pierce. we both agreed that the champ was the best champ we ever cost. it was hot, soft, so well aromatized with hot butter on the top of the copper serving pot melt. it was really the most incredible champ. I was too full of dessert. but my sample ordered the sticky toffee pudding sundae. the team was friendly enough to make me an espresso martini that was both decaf and not a sugar syrup. it was brilliant. we both managed to work our way, although a surprisingly light sticky toast desserts on Sunday. the team was fantastic. very friendly and chatting to us. the bar team did not stop, I had the pleasure of standing and watching them make a great selection of drinks and cocktails. the waiting staff were also very friendly when they check in with us at comfortable places to ensure that we were in order. we felt very well looked around. the service was very good, we didn't feel any hurry, it felt like such a free time in this restaurant. when we come back to belfast, we will be back in absolute terms and we will definitely recommend others. Thank you."

"I'm an American. I was invited to work at the queen’s university in a global conference. my airline has moved my baggage, so I stopped in the barking dog to use her wlan to check the status of my baggage and have a drink and a snack with my associate who has unusual allergies. the menu had nothing to call us, so we have decided to finish and move only our drinks./ at no point has anyone informed that it is illegal to have only drinks, and our server ran our review without mentioning any legal requirements. After I paid, someone who I suspect, the manager, came to the table and checked our reception. exactly what I thought was what they said before they cheated on me how it is illegal to buy drinks in a restaurant without eating. I apologised and explained that I had no warning. I offered to buy food retroactive and they refused. then they repeated that I was in a restaurant and not in a pub and that my activities were illegal. they denied my multiple attempts to apologise me while I explained that I am not out of the opposite. this experience was very confusing for me, because the night before me had drinks in a restaurant without food and it was no problem. in any case I was told that there is no such law and that the ordering of drinks without eating in a restaurant is very common. I've never been treated so badly in a customer service dynamic and I'm not sure why this happened. I feel targeted and totally mistreated for what does not seem to be a good reason. To finish it, it was my birthday. complete error in the name of what this person was. I will say the rest of the staff was very pleasant and accommodating."
