"can not recommend the stoke row store enough. my friend and I stopped under the Marque ride to shield from the rain, and although they were just finished closing for the day, they offered us a free tee and a baguette! such a selfless generousness is rare nowadays and I would urge everyone to support this kind and friendly people! the coffee machine looked ace and the selection of cakes/sandwiches also looked fab. the load itself is full of a countless delicious looking products and preserve, I will be sure to make another visit if I can bring more bags to take away with me! huge thanks to the beautiful staff for us to get out of the rain!"

Lovely shop with very friendly staff. The scrambled eggs on toast were delicious. They even have gluten free options.

The food at this restaurant is amazing, and the atmosphere is lovely. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I especially love the coffee and the much-needed bacon.

Best sandwich above the Equator. BLT or Egg Mayo being my favourite with a coffee. Lots on offer at this boutique shop. As my gran would say quality over quantity except when quantity comes with quality

We stopped by for a quick break and enjoyed delicious cakes and waffles, along with fantastic coffee. The restaurant also sells high-quality local bread and produce. It is truly a wonderful addition to the village.

excellent eating, tee and coffee in their small marquee with most tables of cyclists, hikers and locals. the staff really strives with real flowers on the tables. they have padded the wheel stands to avoid damage to painted frames. if only more places would do the same. visit the maharajah’s fountain and the kirsch garden near. .

This is a 45-minute walk through the woods for us, making it ideal for a lockdown outing. The restaurant is located in a village store that is well-organized with great products and has a cafe with outdoor seating. The staff, possibly the owners, are from Zimbabwe and are friendly but not overly familiar, which is an ideal combination. The food is simple, yet excellent, with beautifully cooked dishes made from quality ingredients. It is definitely worth going out of your way to try this place!

I prefer to support small private coffee shops/caffes if I can. that was a great little stop on our long, cold and muddy cycle. good coffee for the much needed caffeine boost and great toasties. I find in the rule that it is quite boring from caffes due to the lack of filling or the cheaper fillings used in the filling to fill it. this toastia had a good relationship of fillings and the taste was great. I will definitely make this a regular stop on my cycles in the environment. if it was only open on Sunday morning.

"We usually love coming to Cafe Rouge in Henley, always a treat for us and we are always looking forward to it. However the most recent visit was awful and it’s been going downhill over our last coupes of visits. We booked a table for my father in laws birthday. Upon being seated, we were informed that 3 of the main course dishes were unavailable.. pretty much half of the ‘mains’ options. We don’t come to Cafe Rouge for Burgers or salad! We opted for 3 portions of Mussels as had them here before and they’re very good! Mother in law just had pate as there was nothing else she wanted. These were possibly the worst mussels we’ve ever had. You could tell they weren’t fresh (cooked from frozen for sure) and there was barely any sauce in the pot! Usually they are flavourful and abundant in sauce! No check back was performed by the manager on duty..it was a quiet Monday so wasn’t exactly run off his feet. So we couldn’t alert him. Even upon clearing we weren’t ask how our meal was! Just asked if we had finished. We decided to mention they were awful to which the manager told us he would inform the kitchen. When he came back to finish clearing, my partner asked if they were frozen or fresh mussels, to which the manager replied yes, they are frozen. Wasn’t expecting that but you could totally tell! They tasted like cardboard! We had a coffee and a pudding and to be fair to the manager he didn’t charge us for one portion of mussels and the coffees we ordered. The Bill was certainly not worth what we had. Didn’t leave a tip, which we never normally do, but the service was non existent. Manager was more interested in what was on his phone. Won’t be rushing back"
