Brewery and gastronomy are supposed to have run quite well at first, but there were problems from the beginning. the entrepreneur greg koch underestimated the German bureaucracy. new demands, not only for him but also for involved construction companies, caused delays. construction companies temporarily hired the work, so much money was lost. next problem the German beer can be quite happy, but wants to pay as little as possible. here too, koch had expected more and probably the geiz is horny mentality of the German underestimated. I pay for a 0.33l dose best stone beers in charge so around the 2,50 €, turns to a 20s box half liter round 75 euro. if you see that, really no cheaper fun. but it is also not a cheap beer, but one of the best ipas I have tried so far. and besides, you should enjoy this beer, in small quantities, and not to your own bottling. many other manufacturers in the craftbier area call up similar prices and sell their beer. greg cooked it sometime. in digital media, among others, these statements were to be read: the location mariendorf was one of the “weakest and frustrating things” he had ever done and: perhaps this was too big, too brave, too early”. I can't help but give the californier quite right. after 2 1/2 years greg cook has pulled the tear line and its engagement in berlin largely ended. luck in unhappiness: the entire plant consists of brewery and gastronomy in mariendorf, it could take place smoothly through the brewdog company, a Scottish craftbeer company, and stone brewing is not entirely away from the berliner or German window. some of the sorts are brewdog by kochs specifications further brewed in berlin and sold in Germany, some other sorts exported stone brewing from the central in California to Germany. I have not written much for myself. I can only advise bier lovers: try. which disturbs me a little bit, only metal cans are filled and sold. but there I can take a matching glass and pour the beer, for I find nothing more strange than simmering beer from a tiny opening of a tin can. would also be a pity, because tastefully the ipas are simply pointed. neatly tapped, neatly provided with alcohol, from fruity over slightly bitter to velvety foam in the glass. Conclusion: fine business idea implemented with lots of money. in the end unfortunately failed with the good ideas of human reality. what remains are the excellent beers that are still available in German trade. for beer and the availability 5 stars of me."

The Stone Brewingbistro still has the status of "scret location" as not many people knows it. Great location for beer lovers. The negative thing is that it is not very easy to reach if you donot have a car, but other than that is great!

If you like beer, take the time and effort (littre bit out of center but do-able by bike) to visit the Stone Brewing World. Splendid interior! Largest number of beers on tap in Europe. Check their website for special events (p.e. outdoor movie nights in the summer).

This brewery was amazing. It was not in down town Berlin but worth the trip. The beer and food was fantastic BUT it's the building you have to see. There are boulders integrated into the floor, dead trees (not sure if there were once real) and places for children to play. You have to see it to understand words, just can't describe this place.

2 stars only because of the nice setup (building inside and outside), but that's it! Bad taste of the various beers, good taste of the served food (in VERY small rations) but way too high prices!!!But the worst thing: terrible waiters and bad service!!! Had to wait far too long for ordering and paying. They seem to build on 1-time tourists rather than on frequenters.We will NEVER come back !!!!!!

I had two good beers from a vast beer menu and soup which come in a beer glass which was nice. The atmosphere of the restaurant/pub was good it has a lot of seats. But the price of the beer and food was very expensive compared to other pubs restaurants breweries in Berlin. It's not easy to find. I printed directions from google map but I had to ask for directions. It's a bit of a walk from the u-bahn station.

While I suspect that the word "unique" is somewhat overused on Tripadvisor, this is the best description for this place: unique. The atmosphere is fantastic and I am impressed every time I come here. The beer list is (of course) long and really good and features local beers as well as a great selection from Stone. While the food is on the pricey side (for Berlin), I have to say that it is worth the money. The kitchen is creative, fresh, and very tasty. It is worth traveling here. I promise.

We had a little trouble getting here due to the S-bahn being closed for maintenance on a Sunday but it was worth it! Really neat old building that they transformed into a great brewery. Stone is one of my favorite breweries so I was excited to see it in Berlin on a business trip. Sevice was great, beer selection was great. Food was average/good but overpriced for Berlin. It is nice to have some other beers than the same old in Germany. I love the beer there but some variety is great for the country and Stone is leading the way.

First of all: The Stone Brewing World is far away from the city center in an industrial area in the south of Berlin. The place is huge. It is located in an old factory with a kind of beer garden outside. The interior with its high ceilings is made with a lot of wood, metal and stone, a combination of rustic and industrial charme. The atmosphere is pleasant and relexed.The list of craft beer is very long (at least 50). We had different meals for dinner and the food was good. The menu is international. I really wish I could rate this place higher - maybe I was viewing it thru rose expectation colored glasses but it was just ok.We (3 of us) arrived on a Sunday early evening (around 7:00pm) and were greeted and seated promptly by a very friendly hostess (great!). The establishment was about 1/2 full. Our server came after about 15-20 minutes and took our beer and food order and went on their way. For some reason, I expected the beer to arrive in just a couple of minutes seeing as the taps were located about 20 feet from us and the bar area was empty but that was not the case.
