"with great expectations we wanted to celebrate our high-time day last Wednesday. we had heard of known from the restaurant. as we cook Indian ourselves, we were of course very excited and were very happy for the evening. already the ambiente reminded only remotely of india. the appetizers were tasty, but no such great performance was. my main course lamb corma was well prepared from the meat, but the sauce was more a cocoscream without a spicy and without a spicy note. that my wife also eats. the only good were the fish sticks with pommes of our daughter. for us that was. but there are others"

"Normally I would not order pasta at a French or German restaurant . But my favorite Italian restaurant in Konstanz was closed and I was in the mood for Italian food-- spaghetti in particular, which I think of as "comfort food." . One way I judge how good the Italian food is at a restaurant is to order spaghetti al carbone. If the pancetta is all fat and gristle that's a no no; and if the sauce is really heavy and cloying, that's another no no; with overcooked pasta the worst sin of all.This was a quite good example of the dish--not the very best I have ever had, but better than the last two versions I have eaten in Germany and Switzerland. What gives the restaurant the fourth star is the ambience --an outdoor setting with umbrellas over the tables, in a charming (former Fish Market) square. I was there near dusk and a surprisingly good folk/pop group just in the center of the square, whose young woman lead singer was singing in a language I couldn't recognize, added to the atmosphere -- aided by the fact that the instruments were not overamplified. I would definitely come here again."

"the first impression is quite good! a beautiful terrace, friendly welcome. For a Thursday evening quite well visited.We have reserved and get a nice table.The map is quite large typical Indian dishes. We'll get the appetizer in front of the drinks. the waiter has the rest away.The appetizer is not bad but also nothing special.The escape in the main course is very good! the nice also ok.The reordered drink does not come only 10 minutes and after re-emergence, (may be forgotten) only another 10 minutes later.The bill must be ordered in there, since no one is out, although still very full.price performance is quite good.Factory:Not bad but for the place seven in constanz definitiw not justified."

"Don Alfredo enjoys a good reputation in Konstanz... Why don't we really understand after a visit? The ambience is simple and rather dark. They sit very close in the guest room. The employees look like driven by small guests. The food was okay, but it wasn't. We had pizza and pasta. Both were not excellent in our eyes and according to the rating. The Knaller came to pay... There was no card device. We had to get to the next bank well 10min away) and back again. As long as someone had to wait at the table. Very embarrassing and unnecessary in today's time."

"Sol is a peaceful cafe just one block from the Rhein and across the street from Herose Park. The couple running the place on my visit were super friendly and a hospitable couple.The place is a cafe, bar and veggie food hang out. The huge windows allows for lots of natural lighting and views of all the traffic and people going by, but the building is very well insulated and no noise distracts from the cozy interior.They offer a range of milk substitute products in the menu, along with salads, sandwiches, pasta, soup, specialty burgers, yogurt, gelato, healthy breakfast options and more.I had their soy milk hot chocolate (2.90€) and as soon as I observed their pies I just had to try a slice of one, I chose the Rhubarb (2.90€), both of which were excellent. Also, help yourself to the complementary water from the pitcher on the counter.Newspapers, free Wi-Fi, fresh cut flowers on all tables, clean restrooms, great food, staff and atmosphere. Thanks!"
